23 4. 9. VACUUM DRAINAGE BAG DRAINAGE SEALING BAG The vacuum drainage bag seals leaks without using straps. Vacuum bags work well on large storage tanks and wide flat surfaces that can t be strapped. Vacuum sealing drainage bags seal and stick by creating a vacuum, which is why belts are not needed. A vacuum is created by using air-pressure from a high-pressure air source. Drainage sealing bags are fixed onto tanks with straps. Drainage sealing bags have an inflatable sealing perimeter which stops the leak but still allows venting and a controlled draining of liquid from the tank.
