2 System Description The 1 CXJ Series Saturation Divhg system is corsoiidated n tt"'ie market, with the largest n.xnber of systems successfully delivered since 2CXJ5. E The 100 Series is rated 300MSW in accordance with the Class certificate, OJ and offers a standard 1 B-rnan occupancy in 2 x 6-man DOCs and 2 x 3-rnan UJ ~ DOC s. The standard configuration of the system includes two diving bells,... and one or two hyperbaric evacuation systems. D ifferent chamber complex configurations are available, from 12 to 24 diver occupancy and a single or 2 twin diving bell configuration. The system is provided as a turnkey solution and I- includes all the necessary equipment for the diving operation. The equipment is fully standardized and interchangeable in all the different configurations. The 100 Series System engineering is fully pre-approved with the Class (O NV) and is provided with a complete set of documentation which is necessary for the integration of the diving system with the vessel. This is not limited to the interface drawings of a ll the diving equipment. D rass data pack includes the moon pools rails design, the bell trolley rails design, the calculation of the maximum chamber static and dynamic loads with reference to the vessel motion and the maximum allowed deck deflections with reference to the chamber complex. The availability of this engineering data in the initial phase of the project is an important contribution to the vessel design ,.. "~'!.'... 3 Forecastle Deck Twin Bell Handli ng System The Forecastle Deck hosts the complete handling system with the exception of the umbilical winches. Based on stsndard vessel motion parameters, the shock absorbers allow operation up to 4.5 meters of significant wave, which can be improved to 6 meters with specific design. The trolley is hydraulically moved and automatically limits vessel motion. The proximity of the hydraulic power packs reduces the oil piping routing to the minimum. 7 System Features The System is equipped with a trolley system for deployment from the moon pool(s). The trolley system is equipped with a shock absorber system for both the dmng bell and the anchor weight in order to minimize the impact on the mechanical components and extend the life cycle of the handling system. The shock absorber system a lso produces a positive effect on heave compensation. The 100 Series System is provided with a P L C - to uch screen con trolled - Bell H andling Console which manages the synchronized operation of the system. The recovery operation can be: fully automatic with operator consent at delivery points manual A complete set of alarms and sensors are connected to the Bell H andling Console to ensure safe operation. The 100 Series System is equipped with an additional Emergency Portable B ell H andling Console and with a remote control of the handling system directly located on the winches. Constant tensioning is available and adjustable to different weather and stream conditions. The Chamber Complex can be delivered in various standard configuration for occupancy from 12 to 24 divers. The DOCs can be provided in two different versions: - twin lock chambers with main lock (sleeping compartment) and entry lock (toilet and bell mating) - twin lock chambers with main lock (sleeping compartment) and extended lock (lmng compartment); the toilet and bell mating are available in a separate lock. The 100 Series DMng System is provided with the complete vessel interface engineering, including the moon pool design, the chamber complex load calculation and the maximum allowed deck deflection among other deliverables Drass - Galeazzi Certifications The Management System of Drass Group of Companies and all D rass Systems, Equipment and Components are fully DNV~ertified.
