1 HRF Brochure 200 msw / 15 Man Hyperbaric Reception Facility HYPERBARIC RECEPTION FACILITY The Hyperbaric Reception Facility has been built in accordance with American Bureau of Shipping rules and International Marine Contractors Association. (IMCA DESIGN D024:2001 Guidelines)

2 HRF Overview The Hyperbaric Reception Facility has been built in accordance with American Bureau of Shipping rules for building and classing Underwater Vehicles, Systems and Hyperbaric Facilities 2010 and in accordance with International Marine Contractors Association. (IMCA DESIGN D024:2001 Guidelines) The pressure vessels have been built in accordance with ASME PVHO Safety Standard for Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy. - Name: HMAN28 Hyperbaric Reception Facility (HRF) - ABS Number: YY Date of Build: 31 December Port of Survey: Singapore - First Annual Survey conducted 30 May 2014 The HRF facility consists of the following main components: - 1 x Single lock Deck Decompression Chamber (15 Man) - 1 x TUP Chamber (3 Man) - 1 x SPHL Trunking and clamp - 1 x HRF Trunking and clamp - 1 x SPHL Mating system (Hydraulic cradles, Hydraulic pump & Control) - 1 x HRC Mating Skid - 1 x Steel ISO Container partitioned internally into a life support control space and a machinery space: ü Life support space with: System Power distribution unit (PDU), including two 440v/220v transformers Gas reduction/distribution panel Compartment control and analysis panels Chamber power distribution and communication units ü Machinery space with: 2 x External CMU-2 Heater/Chiller Units 1 x PWS-01 Chamber Potable Water System

4 System Components 1. Control Van The control van is a standard ABS approved 20 foot container split into two compartments, one compartment houses the life support control panels for the DDC/TUP/SPHL or HRC. The control panel space also houses the main electrical distribution panel and two 35KVA, 440/230V transformers. The control space is also fitted out with a fire alarm panel, Ambient O 2 sensor with battery backup and a repeater unit installed in the machinery space. The second compartment houses two Control Master Units (CMU), these units are designed to control the temperature and humidity within the DDC and TUP. Also within the second compartment is one portable water unit designed to supply domestic water into the TUP. The control van has a total weight of 8 metric tons and is supplied with its own dedicated lifting slings. The machinery space partition of the HRF container is fitted with a louver and extraction fan to maintain temperatures and air flow past the units. There is also an emergency light and an ambient O 2 repeater unit mounted in the space. 2. Living Chamber A large single lock chamber is mounted on the main skid together with the TUP chamber. They are both protected by heavy steel framework which also acts to support the SPHL mating deck above. The main chamber is fitted out with BIBS and Bunks for 15 men (12 Divers) and is equipped with medical facilities. The SPHL mating trunk descends directly into the TUP end of the chamber. 5 TUP The TUP chamber is a separate pressure vessel connected to the end of the main chamber by a bolted flange type manway. It is designed and fitted out with BIBS for 3 men. The TUP also acts as the systems wet pot for ablutions and is fitted with a large equipment lock. The equipment lock will always be fitted to the opposite side of the HRC trunk.

6 HRU Mating 1. HRC Alignment Skid The HRC has a dedicated alignment skid that will be positioned under the HRC allowing for alignment of the HRC to the TUP trunk. Each corner of the HRC alignment skid is fitted with adjustable jacking bolts allowing for the HRC alignment frame to be raised or lowered. There are also four cone pads supplied to be located under the jacking bolts to assist with the raising and lowering of the HRC. 2. SPHL Hydraulic Alignment On the upper skid there is a hydraulic alignment system for the mating of the SPHL onto the HRF which is controlled by with four levers mounted on the alignment control panel. The control console also houses an air driven hydraulic pump which supplies the hydraulic power to the alignment system. 3. SPHL Hydraulic Alignment Support Cradles The upper level of the HRF is fitted with a hydraulic alignment support cradle for the mating of the SPHL onto the HRF complex which consists of two independent support cradles. There are two stainless steel guides on the bottom of the SPHL that locate into the support cradles, each support cradle is fitted with 2 off 25 ton hydraulic double acting rams at each end of the support cradles. The hydraulic rams are operated by the hydraulic control console which can raise or lower the support cradles giving faster alignment of trunks than a conventional manual jacking system. Each support cradle is fitted with six 36mm diameter securing bolts that are used to secure the cradles once the alignments of the trunks are completed. Flow control valves are fitted so fine control of the double acting hydraulic rams can be achieved during lowering the SPHL onto the DDC to SPHL trunk.
