9 Low FiO 2 Non-vented Anti-Asphyxia Valve Elbow Low FiO 2 Elbow The Flow-Safe II has an optional Low FiO 2 Elbow that can be used for specific patients that may require low FiO 2 delivery. The elbow is easy to connect and reduces the delivered FiO 2 to approximately 35%. Intended Use: The Flow-Safe II Low FiO 2 elbow is intended for use with Flow-Safe II ONLY, without nebulizer. 10 LiteSaver Manometer The LiteSaver Manometer with integrated timing light for improved adult and pediatric ventilation. After pulling the red tab, a red light is activated and will blink every six (6) seconds as an indication for the clinician to squeeze the bag and ventilate the patient. (Time Sequence - 10 Breaths Per Minute/BPM). The LiteSaver Manometer sequence is specifically for adult and pediatric patients with advanced airways in place. LiteSaver Manometer not only provides a time indicator for the initial breath, it assists clinicians in delivering a safer, slower ventilation resulting in sufficient expiration time avoiding breath stacking. 17 WoundClot Hemostatic Gauze WoundClot For Your (Stop The Bleed) Program (Apply light pressure... Stops bleeding in seconds) WoundClot Gauze, is a single use, sterile and bio-absorbable hemostatic gauze, made from cellulosic structure, which can be fabricated into a variety of forms to suit a variety of wounds in the control of bleeding. WoundClot can be used as a topical dressing for local management of bleeding wounds, such as cuts, lacerations and abrasions, and for use as a temporary treatment of severely bleeding wounds. Upon application and contact with blood, the product s molecular structure changes to form a gelatinous membrane, which adheres to the wound creating a barrier that immediately reduces blood flow. Then, platelets from the injury attach to the gauze by inter-molecular forces to form a stable membrane, which is able to withstand severe arterial and venous blood flow for hours. Specific molecular groups, created in the manufacturing process, are then dispersed during gel formation to activate various coagulation factors in the blood, thus helping to form a physiologically natural fibrin clot in the wound. After bleeding has stopped, the remaining residual membrane can be irrigated out of the wound safely without pulling on soft tissue or the existing clot.
