Nic Graham, the design mastermind behind the hotel, has created the ultimate beachside retreat whilst capturing the essence of Bondi. Bespoke detailing and designer furnishings provide a dramatically fresh yet elegant interiors with all of the QT signature quirk. Focusing on creating an individualised home-away-from-home, the light filled rooms create a mood of tranquillity and beachside bliss. Using a palette of pastels, and pops of colour, furnishings and décor depict an allround summer beach vibe. Bondi Style By Pip Edwards Guy Turland By Bondi Harvest Often found in the streets of Bondi, Pip s a maven at starting trends, promoting cool brands, styling shoots and designing fashion ranges and accessories. She is a woman of many talents. Currently the Design Director at General Pants, Pip previously worked for popular Australian fashion brands, Ksubi and Sass & Bide. Pip s success and reputation for a directional approach to fashion has seen her move effortlessly into her role as a designer, creative consultant and sough-after stylist. As for her personal style it s eclectic, just like QT. Bondi local Guy Turland is a chef who has trained at some of Sydney s best restaurants (Est and Bondi Icebergs) and now runs his own café, the Depot at North Bondi. Mark Alston, his business partner, is a film maker with a background in photography, design and making music videos. Together, they are Bondi Harvest. With a restaurant and cookbook to their name, they are best known as online sensations who regularly attract tens of thousands of viewers to their recipe videos on YouTube.

David Seargeant Group Managing Director David Seargeant is Managing Director of QT Hotels & Resorts. David has over 30 years experience in the hospitality and leisure industries and served as Managing Director of Rydges Hotels group from 1988 to Chairman of the National Accommodation Council and Australian Hotels Association, Seargeant has had a lifetime career in hotels having been general manager of 16 different hotel properties. Seargeant is also the Group Managing Director of Amalgamated Holdings Limited. Nic Graham Public Areas Designer & Stylist Nic Graham has made a name for himself delivering the cool and quirky interiors across all QT Hotel & Resort properties. Graham has been running his own studio in Sydney with a small team and has worked in all of the traditional design categories including architecture, furniture and product design and interiors. His experience, skill, passion and attention to detail continue to deliver memorable QT spaces and noteworthy design moments. Seargeant s vision for QT has been inspired by innovation and creative design found globally in architecture, emerging art, fashion and industrial design.

His team is compelled by the idea that design is a cultural imperative, taking responsibility for the creation of heightened experiences that engage both emotionally and intellectually. Ongarato continues to succeed in bringing the QT experience to life. Shaun Gladwell Artist Shaun Gladwell is an Australianborn, London-based contemporary artist who works in video, painting, photography, sculpture and installation to name a few. Commissioned in consultation with QT Hotels & Resorts Art Curator, Amanda Love, Shaun Gladwell is QT Bondi s featured artist. His permanent displays feature in the lobby of QT Bondi and are inspired by the Bondi landscape, encapsulating the energy and vibrancy of Bondi through digital medium.

11 COLLABORATORS Janet Hine Costume Design & Supervision With a background in costume design for YTT at Granada Media and Costume Couture, Janet Hine was an obvious choice when it came to commissioning the right designer for QT Bondi staff attire. Hines creative process started with Managing Director David Seargeant who shared his vision for QT Bondi. Outfits were required to complement the designer interiors impacting on the hotels environment but not visually wrestling with it so Hine worked on creating looks that resemble a relaxed beachside resort feel. Comfort and practicalities also needed to play a part as no one member of staff is the same shape or size. Anna Roberts Stylist Anna Roberts has over 14 years experience in design and styling both in Australia and Internationally. After completing her studies in Melbourne, Roberts left to explore Europe and Asia, seeking inspiration and spent nearly a decade in the United Kingdom refining her opulent style. Since returning home to Australia, Roberts has completed numerous design and styling projects along with lecturing at RMIT University. Responsible for the buying and merchandising for Qtique boutiques and adding finishing touches to each individual guest room at QT Bondi, Roberts sources the most unique, quirky elements to give the guest rooms a definitive guest experience.
