2 2018 Paddock to Plate National Training Conference, Sydney What to expect! The theme of this year s conference will be embracing technological change. Many of the presentations will look at the impact of technology on the workforce, training strategies, and recruitment processes. Planning is still in the early stages, but here are just some of the presentation areas we are planning to include. Keynote address on the workforce of the future Keynote address on the challenges of using technology for training A range of workshops and presentations with an HR focus, such as becoming an employer of choice; creating a culture of recognition; and big data and the HR Manager Critical training requirements in poultry processing Augmented reality and training The use of social media in training Creating best practice assessment tools How to run an effective webinar training session. The conference is an event build around the interests of Registered Training Organisations, Human Resource Managers and related bodies involved with the provision of education and training services to the Australian livestock production and processing industries. The participation of regulators, and relevant Commonwealth, State and Territories Departments Research and Development bodies and industry associations is also anticipated.
