2 The IESANZ Lighting Awards program provides a unique opportunity for public and industry recognition of professionalism, ingenuity, and originality in lighting design. This program is not a competition, but rather highlights excellence in lighting. Judging is based upon the individual merit of each entry against specific criteria, and judges are selected from a broad professional spectrum that represents knowledge of lighting and design excellence. We also recognise other significant achievements through a range of national and international awards, including service to the industry. FRIDAY 19 OCTOBER 2018 QT PERTH, 133 MURRAY STREET, PERTH WA 6000 The WA Chapter LiDA Awards 2018 are held to celebrate and promote the highest quality lighting design in Western Australia. Following a rigorous judging regime, the awards recipients are announced at the Lighting Awards Event. The Awards Event will this year be held at the QT Perth, 133 Murray Street, Perth WA It is recognized that a significant factor to the success of the Awards Event is the ability to secure financial support from potential sponsors. The call for 2018 LiDA Awards entries has now closed and a healthy number of submissions has been received.
