(MP) Zou Kota-Fredericks, Deputy Minister of Human Settlements has been entrusted with overseeing amongst other things, the department programme for the indigent. Therefore, this communiqué seeks to invite and inform you as potential sponsor about the upcoming Siyahlola Women s Transformation Golf Challenge, a fund raising initiative aimed at strengthening and establishing partnerships with female stakeholders in the built industry to fast track the provision of quality household life to selected beneficiaries. The platform is also intended to position and showcase the work done by the department and its stakeholders, especially with regards to women empowerment and Innovative Building Technologies to highlight the improved lives of millions of poor South Africans by the department as a catalyst for collaborative planning, coordinated investments and sustainable livelihoods in order to unlock development synergy in the sector. This Golf, to be held on 25 September at the Durbanville Golf Club, Cape Town will bring together different role players in the human settlements value chain who have committed to partner with government in building sustainable human settlements.
