1 Discover Costa Rica Yoga, hiking and surf between jungle and beach! 9-16 December 2016 (7 nights) with Michela Montalbetti We will spend the first 2 days in the tropical jungle near the Tenorio Volcano National Park in an amazing Eco lodge with horses, home grown fruits and vegetables, waterfalls and pristine nature. Then we will transfer to the beach (aprox. 2h drive) for another 5 days of beach, relax, surf & sun in Playa Negra! We will practice yoga every day and have plenty of free time to enjoy, relax and have fun. In the jungle, we will stay at La Carolina Lodge, a magical place that has kept the original costarican lifestyle intact. They use wood fire to cook, very little electricity and even use wood fire to warm the water of their impressive outdoor warm bathtub by the river! On the grounds of the farm you will see animals, flowers, impressive trees and their vegetables and fruit plantation. We will practice yoga on a beautiful wooden platform next to the river. We will do a horseback ride tour and on the full day there we will visit the Rio Celeste (pictured above) waterfall and the Tenorio national park (2-3 hours hike, for all levels). At the beach, we will stay in a luxury and spacious private home, 100 mt. from the amazing beach in Playa Negra on the Pacific Coast, in the Northern part of Costa Rica. We will eat delicious vegetarian meals every day. Besides the 2 yoga classes every day, we have the possibility to surf, stand-up paddle, mountain bike, hike, etc. or simply chill at the beach. Both locations have been carefully selected to be away from the crowds and more in contact with pristine nature. What makes this yoga retreat in Costa Rica unique is the opportunity to see two very different sides of the country and to live closer to the costarican lifestyle and it s famous PURA VIDA.

Yoga Visit National Park volcano Tenorio and the famous Rio Celeste blue waterfalls. (hike aprox. 3 hours) Free time in the afternoon for swimming in the river and hot tubs of La Carolina Lodge. Yoga Horse back ride, lunch Check out and transfer (included) to the beach, Playa Negra (aprox. 2 hours). First swim at the beach (1 min from the house!) board, hiking. 4 Infos on flight and traveling to Costa Rica I recommend to fly to San Jose - Costa Rica international airport at least one day before, we will all leave on Saturday morning (9 December) from the airport area. Most flights from Europe arrive at night so you will have to book a night in a Hotel near the airport. There are direct flights from Zurich to San Jose on Tuesday or Friday at a really fair price, check Edelweiss air. Otherwise I advice you to take direct flight from Madrid or with a layover in the USA (Miami or NY). The San Jose area offers many nice sights too, like the Irazu Volcano. Also extending the stay after the retreat is a great option, we end it at the beach, where you could stay longer. Or, from there you can explore many different areas on the North Pacific. I will be more than happy to advice you on how to continue your trip.

5 Conditions v Please note that flights, car rental (or bus rides) and drinks are not included in the price. Transportation from the beach (end of retreat) to San Jose is not included. v As soon as you get the confirmation after your booking, the registration is binding. A deposit of 500 EUR is due within the following week. The balance is due by 31 October Cancelation policy If you have to cancel your trip, please note the following cancelling conditions. We highly recommend a travel insurance that covers the fees in case of cancellation. a) Cancellation before 31 August 2017: course fee minus half of the deposit of 500 EUR will be refunded. b) Cancellation 31 August October 2017: course fee minus the deposit of 500 EUR will be refunded. c) Cancellation 10 October December 2017: no refund unless you find another person who will participate at the course at the same price conditions.
