This year, in addition to our reputation for maintaining high quality standards, we have lots of new specials on offer: 200 brand new RRD boards with the newest Neil Pryde and RRD rigs in all sizes and a large selection of kids and Kiteboarding gear. Several SUP boards and sea kayaks are available free of charge in combination with weekly rental package deals. Sun beds are complementary during low season. Training at all levels is under the expert supervision of our international team of instructors. The white sandy beach around Pro-Center is bordered by crystal clear water and is ideal for learning as well as for leisure and relaxation. If you wish to come with your family and want to enjoy windsurfing without worrying about your kids, we offer free supervision. 7 Baia dei Delfini - Porto Pollo Perfect conditions for Beginners and Advanced-Windsurfers/Kiters The advantageous location of the MB-Pro Center along the channel between Corsica and Sardinia, guarantees great wind conditions for Windsurfing & Kiteboarding. We have four wind systems; the Tramontana, Maestrale, Ponente and Scirocco which blow across both bays of Porto Pollo at wind strengths ranging from 4 to 8 Bft.: ideal for all levels of Windsurfers/Kiters. In the morning winds are ideally suited for beginners. In the afternoon, a stronger breeze prevails and presents exciting conditions for more radical action. During the summer, the prevailing wind is the Ponente, with wind forces ranging between 4-8 Bft. During the autumn the Scirocco, from North Africa, typically blowing with 5-6 Bft, can reach strengths up to 8 Bft. In addition to the wind-favorable geographical situation of the site, the wind in the bay is also accelerated due to the narrowing of the hilly terrain around Porto Pollo. The combination of terrain and location in the straits of Bonifacio results in exceptional windy flat water conditions. Small waves can also be found a little further out in the bay. Furthermore, the whole family can enjoy the many activities offered, as well as the such as beach-parties with live music and barbecues on the beach. ADVANCED K2 Kids BEATING, HARNESS & BEACH START With the harness you will be able to sail longer and more comfortably in stronger wind conditions. By learning how to beat upwind you will improve your safety on the water. Beach start will spare your strength in stronger winds. K 2 + Kids PLANING & FOOTSTRAPS Speed is everything. Once you get planning with both feet in the foot-straps you will feel the adrenalin and will be hooked for life! K3 Kids Waterstart The waterstart is a required skill to progress further into funboard! Go full steam ahead! Our windsurfing lessons are organized in the same way as in alpine ski schools. Groups are put together for each level and age and are easily recognizable by the coloured lycra each participant has to wear. The benefit of these Lycra s is to identify all participants; during group assembling, on the water and especially to locate a child that may have accidentally become separated from the rest of the group. To minimize the probability of this happening, the course area on the water is marked with buoys that are easily recognizable. To sum up, the safety of your children is our number one priority and they are well taken care of at MB-Pro Center. We operate two lifeboats and have certified lifeguards on our team. If you have already taken a kiteboarding course, or just a trial lesson, but not reached your goal - no problem, we will help you to get to the Level you want.! Our kite instructors are VDWS (Association of German Water schools) or IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) tested, so you can be sure of a professional team of instructors. All Kite-Level-Certificates issued by us are valid internationally. During the Advanced Kiteboarding training we will have a safety boat on standby in front of the Kite Center. Lessons lessons are in 60 minute intervals. The 6 hours Basic course will be carried out usually in 2/3 days with consecutive hours per day. We recommend the 6 hour Basic Package (1 or 2) to get the right base. Every human being is different, one needs more, some less time to reach their goal. Additional hours at a reduced price. All lessons starting from Kite Level 3 (Kite 3), are only possible with a private teacher. Harness, wetsuit, life vest and helmet will be provided by the Pro Center. PRIVATE lessons Package 3-3 or 6 hours: If you ve already managed Level 1 and 2, we can only offer you private lessons to teach the next Level. Again, the extra hours will be at a reduced price. You are required to have your own insurance. The Pro Center does not accept liability at any time.
