8 Kiteboarding Lessons and Pro Equipment The Kite Center is situated at the MB-Pro Center base within walking distance to the Windsurf Village apartments. Porto Pollo has 2 bays. The left bay is Kite- Zone, directly in front of the Pro Center is Windsurfing-zone. All Kite-kit will be brought to the Kite-zone with our Shuttle-boat where we have our daily meeting point. The Kite spot offers perfect learning as well advanced conditions. Packages are including Kite & Board, helmet, harness, wetsuit and impact jacket. Time: 3 days (8 hours) Max 4 Students The Basic Course is designed for anyone who wants to start kitesurfing. The course lasts 3 days and covers all the basic elements in complete safety and independence. 1st - Level 1 - getting to know the equipment and safety systems - understanding the wind window - practice with training kite (2m2) 2nd Level 2 - launching and landing the kite - kite control - self rescue - body drag - rights of way 3rd Level 3 - first departures and common errors - first attempts at navigation - water start - theory and safety rules 3rd/4th Level 4-2 hours of supervised practice on the water With also give you the ABC of Kitesurfing manual which we advise you to study during the course. BASIC advanced PRIVATE Time: 4 hours Max 2-3 Students This course suits the intermediate rider and covers both theoretical and practical elements: - safety procedures - perfection of the water start - body position - progression of all the points of sail - kite control in navigation - change of direction, posture - keeping the kite high - going upwind For those who need extra time to achieve their objectives, extra hours can be added to this course at a discounted rate. Time: 3 hours Max 2 Students You can only get better on this course, thanks to our expert staff. We dedicate one hour of this course to Self Rescue, teaching you how to get back to the beach in case of problems, using the kite as a small life raft, allowing you to become completely independent. The course can be shaped to suit your specific requirements, including: - Freestyle, Wave, Jump, Transitions - general style improvement We can teach you using your own equipment or with the equipment of the school. Time: by the hour Max 1 Student Private are the fastest way to make a real improvement in your technique, thanks to our teaching method which uses a waterproof radio system to give advice and correct errors in real time. Kite-zone Windsurf-zone Info Lessons: All Kite- will be taught by approved instructors by VDWS (Association of German Watersports Schools) and IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization. With a maximum of 4 students per instructor you can start off in this fascinating sport. All kiteboarding licences we issue are internationally valid. Kiteboarding instruction takes place with safety boat. We will be happy to advise and help to improve you skill. Theory-Lessons will take place at the MB-Pro Center base. Prerequisites: To participate in our courses you must be able to swim and be in good physical shape. Courses start: everyday, with reservations possible until 17:00 hours. Kite Licences can be made at any time.

Hobie Openbic Laser GENERAL INFORMATION LESSONS / RENTALS Check - In/Out - Lessons / Rental - Equipment We kindly ask you to Check-In with a valid identity document, ID or driver s license or passport which will remian in our office for the duration of your and/or rentals (no need for Windsurf Village clients). All equipment (Windsurf/Rigs/Kite/Wetsuit/Harness/Lifejacket/Helmet/SUP/Kayak/Sailing boats etc) will be issued to you by our staff, at the time of your Check-In for your personal use. Equipment change can be done at any time. Please ask our Staff. We kindly ask you to Check-Out when returning the equipment. Rental- requirement You need to have a basic knowledge (Windsurf/Kayak/SUP/Sailing) in order to rent our equipment. Minimum requirement for the kiteboarding rental is the IKO license Step 3K / VDWS license Step 5 (constant upwind riding), which can be obtained on site. Liability insurance All Windsurfing & Kite clients are insured by the Pro Center during times. Using any equipment during rental time (even the time after the ). You are not insured through the Pro-Center during rental periods or after for: - collisions, legal liability claims for injury to a third party, damage to equipment of a third party. You are required to have your own insurance. The Pro Center does not accept liability at any time. Equipment insurance The Pro Center can provide you with a (only) Windsurf-Equipment insurance for damages to our rental gear upon request. Loss of the equipment and personal injury are excluded at any time.
