2 Latex Neck & Cuff Seals Features & Maintenance: All seals are exceptionally supple and give an excellent life expectancy. Cuff seals come in two styles tapered or bottle neck. Neck seals come in a bellows or tapered design. Bottle neck cuff seals and all neck seals have guide ribs for easy trimming. The SI Tech latex formula is TNTD free and the leaching process reduces the allergenic agents to a non detectable level, however sensitive users may react to any latex product. Wash all latex seals with a mild soap and water after each dive. Perspiration is an enemy of latex. Rinse in fresh water and dry. Apply pure talc only to dry seals. Store latex in a dark place, free of ozone and non-organic materials. Unused seals should be kept in a dark re-sealable bag. Ocean Equipment

3 Silflex/Silicone Seals Silicone/Silflex Seals have many advantages over regular latex seals. They still must be handled with care. Treat these seals as you would a latex seal. To reduce strain and friction on the seal use a pure talc. Do not leave them in direct sunlight. Over-stretching can destroy the integrity of the seal. Do not stretch the seal any more than is required. Do not just pull the seal over your head or hand. Assist the seal removal with a free hand. Sharp objects can puncture the seal. Avoid wearing rings and jewelry. Sharp un-manicured fingernails can rip a seal. Poor trimming can cause a seal to tear. Use sharp scissors when trimming. Do not trim across trim lines. Avoid sharp edges. Ensure you finish the cut out from the seal edge. Ensure a smooth cut. Ocean Equipment
