Literacy: Children will consider different viewpoints, select and use appropriate registers for effective communication. Topic: Children will learn the different aspects of how ancient Greece influenced the world (Olympic games, the god zeus). Science:Children will : Understand that the Sun is a star and that the Earth is warmed and lit by the energy it gives off. That there are many different types of stars. That astronomers group stars into constellations. Use a selection of sources of information to find out more about planets. Know which planets make up our solar system and their order from the Sun. Understand that the planets all orbit the Sun and many have celestial bodies orbiting them. Numeracy: Find common multiples. Find factors of numbers to 50. Recognise that square numbers have an odd number of factors. Decide whether to round up or down after division depending on the context. Recognise equivalent fractions. Simplify fractions. Compare fractions with related denominators. Literacy: To write a section of a graphic novel based on Clockwork both comic strip & prose sections. Topic: Ancient Greece influence on the world. Science: Children have stars in their eyes as they find out that the Sun is one star in the galaxy called the Milky Way, which is just one galaxy in the universe. Children identify common constellations. They then take a safe look at sunspots on the surface of the sun.children blast off to the far flung corners of the galaxy to find out more about the planets that make up our solar system. They investigate their distances from the Sun & collect data for a fact file to report back to the rest of the class. French: To count the cardinal numbers up to 31/learn the days

The story would have a theme that they would be guided with. Practicing the arm movement with the pull buoy in between the legs III.
