Topic: Children will learn the timelines, context and geographical location of the Benin Kingdom Science: Children will learn about the properties of materials and plan an investigation to test which material is best for a food surface preparation area. French: The children will be able to mention school subjects in French. Music: Children will be able to listen with concentration, identify and explore contrasting moods and sensations using tuned sounds. ICT: Understand what the term Augmented Reality (AR) means to layer the real world with digital content. P.E : To be able to sprint over short distances demonstrating this technique (high hips, relaxed neck and shoulders, still head etc.)
2 Swimming: To understand and be able to apply proper legs and arm actions as well as good body position and bilateral breathing in the freestyle strokes. Art:The children will produce sketches of different stories based on Roald Dahl Matilda s story book. African Studies: To create charts illustrating the statistics of the population in South Africa. Swimming: Children will learn how to improve their freestyle stroke by practicing: I. Leg kicks with arms extended and locked II. Leg kicks with one arm on the thigh and the other extended forward with shoulder touching the ear III. Alternating arms action after six leg kicks IV. Single arm action catch and pull drill and bilateral breathing every three arm pulls. T2, W2 Numeracy: To add and subtract decimals. Literacy: To know and use features of short horror stories. Numeracy: Children will solve word problems. Literacy: Children will write their own horror stories. Topic: To know the physical geography of the Kingdom of Benin. Topic: Children will research different aspects of the Benin Kingdom including Geography. Science: Children will learn about and investigate which materials are good heat insulators and conductors.

Music: Learn how melody reflects the lyrics. ICT: independently record video for a range of purposes. Continue to take photographs for a specific reason or project and/or find appropriate images on-line. P.E : To learn the feeling of striking the shuttle correctly; To understand how to win a rally Art: To create a legend that illustrates the different aspects of life in the Egyptian Pharaohs.
