It is designed to test your knowledge of the relevant swimming rules and to familiarize you with the contents of the rulebook. The test must be taken within two weeks of the date of the Training Clinic that you attende The test consists of a series of multiple-choice questions. Each question is followed by a series of citations to the rulebook and you are to indicate the citation(s) that applies to the answer. When reviewing the given citations, keep in mind that in some cases, there may be more than one relevant citation. Unless otherwise stated or implied in the context of the question, all events are being conducted in an eight-lane, 25-yard pool. Read each question carefully, check the citations and indicate your answers to the question and the citations. Each question and each citation is worth one half of a point. To pass the test, you must obtain an overall score of 80%, and answer 80% of the questions correctly.
