A limited number of membership upgrades are available for members wishing to add weekly personal training sessions, regular beauty treatments in our 10 treatment room spa as well as being able to enjoy the first floor spa lounge. 3

4 A stunning timber ceiling dominates the magnificent pool hall and provides a haven where you can escape completely. The 20 metre x 8.5 metre deck level swimming pool has been designed for both exercise and relaxation; serious swimmers can glide up and down the pool counting lengths whilst others may choose to have a leisurely float staring up at the impressive wooden ceiling. Children can gain confidence in the splash pool and shallower area, before progressing to the main pool which is a comfortable 1.2 metre depth throughout. Enjoy the warmth and bubbles of the 3 metre spa (Jacuzzi style) pool situated near large windows overlooking the grounds, you can sit back and watch the wild rabbits hop past. Just a step outside the pool hall is the 5 metre x 3 metre Hydrotherapy Pool. The outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool with jets, massage cannons and loungers can be enjoyed all year round; on a fresh spring day, on a hot summer evening, on a crisp autumnal day when the leaves are turning and on a winter day when the snow is falling all around. Enjoy the relaxation area with loungers and chairs surrounding the hydrotherapy pool all year round too; snuggle under a blanket under a starry sky enjoying a warming hot chocolate or lose yourself in a good book in the late afternoon sunshine. 4

By visiting each room for a full heat and ice experience or just your favourite you will leave feeling refreshed, revitalised and reinvigorated: 6 Sauna Fitted with beautiful natural hemlock wood and a stunning feature salt wall, the sauna reaches temperatures of 85 C to 90 C. Not least because it is so relaxing and leaves your body soothed and your mind serene the sauna s main advantage lies in the fact that it promotes sweating, helping the body to rid itself of toxins. The sauna can seat 10 people. Steam Room lightly fragranced hot steam fills the room reaching temperatures between 40 C and 48 C with 100% humidity. The gentle stimulating effect of warm humid air, relaxing fragrance and light therapy will promote circulation as well as cleansing and toning the skin. The steam room can seat 12 people. Tepidarium tiled seating with individual foot rests in a comfortable dry, tepid room between 35 C and 40 C. With calming music and infusion of aromatherapy essence, the tepidarium allows the body to cool down at the end of, or in the midst of, a rigorous heat and ice session. The tepidarium can seat 5 people. Ice Room with ice fountain typically chilled to around 8 C the ice room experience is likened to rolling in the snow! The ice fountain offers a constant supply of ice for you to rub into your skin which cools the body down after experiencing the hot sauna and steam room. The ice room can seat 4 people. Also within the thermal spa suite are: Footspas deep comforting warmth of heated ceramics and rejuvenating hydrotherapy helps regulate body temperature after using other thermal spa experiences or can simply be used for pleasure. The footspas can be filled on demand with warm and cool water and will seat 3 people. Feature Showers including body jets, rain shower and mood lighting The alternation of heat and cold has many health benefits when used sensibly. Contrast heat therapy helps blood circulation and helps to rid the body of toxins along with reducing limb and joint pain due to the intensive warmth. 9 GYMNASIUM Kenwick Gym has been designed to provide a balanced combination of cardiovascular and strength related equipment to meet the needs of members regardless of age, gender and physical condition. Whether you are a regular gym user or are new to the gym environment, the user friendly equipment and qualified gym team, means you can concentrate on your workout and achieving your goals. State of the art Excite+TechnoGym cardiovascular and strength equipment is manufactured to the highest biomechanical standards. The machinery incorporates digital features to provide entertainment, interactivity and personalised content to maximise your gym experience. The excite+ range includes seven variations of cardiovascular machines including treadmills, cross-trainers, vario plus more. A 3.5m x 10m squared mirrored free weight area within the gym will provide weights ranging from 2kg to 50kg* along with an Olympic half rack. A Functional Training Rig system is a multi-functional training centre allowing up to 9 users at a time for individual use as part of your workout or as a group exercise instructor lead class. The Training System boasts a cable station, monkey bars, battle ropes, boxing bag and chin up bar plus more. Train like an Olympian on our Pro Wattbikes; the revolutionary bike was created with British Cycling to offer an outdoor track or road cycling experience indoors! Air-resistance technology ensures a unique and realistic feel and experience that is as close to race bike riding as you can get. The in-built technology provides you with pre-set workouts so you can challenge the bike, or can be connected with other bikes for group cycling and racing. The in built technology can measure your heart rate and analyse your pedalling technique. The Vplate TM pro has a twin custom shock absorption system which creates a 3 dimensional vibration; a popular alternative way of toning and shaping. 10 CLASSES Every week 70* inclusive fitness and relaxation classes offering 1,100* spaces are scheduled to suit all levels of fitness ability. Two studios fitted with sprung floors and mood lighting is the hub for the majority of the classes ranging from Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and Meditation to Zumba, Hula Hoop, Body Conditioning and Boxercise. The smaller of the studios will host all Spinning classes on brand new state of the art Spin Bikes. Enjoy group racing sessions or set your own pace on revolutionary magnetic resistance indoor cycles. *subject to change CHANGING FACILITIES Finished to a beautifully high standard with walnut effect lockers, well lit vanity units and upholstered seating, your changing experience will offer both luxury and practicality. Family showers and changing cubicles fitted with baby changing units, will help you have a stress free family changing experience before and after using the swimming pool. Complimentary shampoo and shower gel is provided in the showers and towels are available for use and laundered for you; saving you space in your kit bag and taking the time and effort out of washing yours and your family s towels several times a week. TENNIS COURT Overlooking the picturesque golf course and lodges is our all-weather tennis court. Challenge your fellow members to a game of doubles before relaxing in the spa or have a friendly knock about at the weekend whilst the children are booked into a Kenwick Kidz activity. 10

Weighing, measuring, blood pressure monitoring and fitness assessments may take place in this room. Should you ever need to speak to members of the fitness team about health related problems or receive hands on treatment for injuries, including Pilates, this private room may be used. You can book in for a new programme every 12 weeks and you can of course at any time ask for advice about the gym equipment, class recommendations, watt bike challenges, running routes plus anything else that you need advice or information on. Upon joining, sign up to our Member Wellness programme to keep your fitness on track. A member of the fitness team will help identify your health and fitness needs and create a personalised programme to help you achieve your goals. You may wish to begin exercising for the first time in years, use the gym more frequently or progress from beginner Pilates to improver Pilates; whatever your personal goals are, our team will be there to guide you with the encouragement, support and motivation you need. 11

12 KENWICK KIDZ Kenwick Kidz is a kids club within ClubSpa@Kenwick. Upon joining, each child will receive a personalised welcome pack along with rewards for participating in group activities. Classes take place within the ClubSpa and also within the grounds of Kenwick Park Estate by our fitness team who are all subjected to a DBS check. Zumba, Circuits, Hula Hoop, Rig and Healthy Eating Workshop are a few of the classes available to children throughout the week after school and at a weekend. Additional classes will be added to the schedule in the school holidays. Swimming from an early age not only provides a complete physical workout for your child but also increases water confidence, encourages a positive association with water and most importantly provides them with a potential lifesaving skill. Private Swimming Lessons* are recommended for nonswimmers and/or children needing to gain more confidence in the water. A 30 minute private lesson improves confidence by the instructor and child running races, floating, blowing bubbles, splashing and kicking with swim aids. In turn this leads to your child gaining trust and eventually taking their first un-aided strokes. Group Swimming Lessons** are recommended from the age of 4. An Easter Egg Hunt sees the Easter bunny leaving chocolate eggs hidden in the woods for the children to find and a visit from Father Christmas and a Christmas disco starts the festive excitement in December. * Private Swimming Lessons are charged in addition to your subscriptions. ** Group Swimming Lessons are included for children who are part of a full membership otherwise there may be a charge. 12

Enjoy a glass of wine and a light bite on a Friday evening overlooking the beautifully lit pool. With a menu offering breakfast, light lunches, cakes, healthy snacks and afternoon tea there is something to choose whatever the time of day you are using ClubSpa. Children can enjoy a menu designed just for them with a range of delicious healthy meals and snacks along with a range of cakes and tasty treats. 13

14 Artist impression of the New Relaxation Room SPA LOUNGE Day Packages, Residential Packages & Twilight Evenings. is the perfect place to recharge your batteries by visiting on a Spa Day or Residential Spa Break. Beauty day guests and beauty overnight guests may use the swimming pool, pool side thermal spa suite, hydrotherapy pool, dedicated spa classes and gym. Spa female changing rooms are located upstairs with private access to pool side via a spiral staircase. Upstairs spa lounge, servery, 10 treatment rooms, a nail bar and a relaxation room for post treatment relaxation are available for your use. The male changing rooms are located downstairs for members and guests. Delicious platters, afternoon teas and a range of hot, cold and alcoholic beverages means you don t have to leave the comfort of ClubSpa from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. 14

15 TREATMENT ROOMS Ten tranquil treatment rooms finished to a standard in keeping with the rest of ClubSpa, ensures your surroundings are as first class as your spa treatment. Ambient lighting, beautifully finished décor and furnishings, relaxing music and a luxurious spa treatment menu to choose from, makes your visit to the spa after that extra challenging work-out all the more rewarding. Two twin treatment rooms with beds side by side makes that special occasion extra special with a loved one or friend by your side enjoying the same or similar treatments. Following your treatment, your therapist will guide you to the Relaxation Room, to continue your treatment experience. Simply lie back and lose yourself in the peaceful music or enjoy a fruit tea to complement the treatment you have just enjoyed. British brand Elemis was born out of the vision to bring together the power of nature, science and aromatics. Naturally Sourced, Science Driven, Hands On and always Personally Prescribed Clinically proven Facials, Body Massages and Spa Treatments make up just part of the extensive Elemis treatment offering. Mii Make-Up and OPI Nailcare join Elemis in a line of wellknown brands, ensuring first class treatments and homecare products always available. A range of complementary therapies including Indian head massage, reflexology and aromatherapy massage, relax the mind, body and spirit. Essential grooming treatments including waxing and tinting along with a range of mens treatments, pregnancy treatments and Kenwick treatments means there is a treatment to suit everyone s needs. 15

16 MEMBERSHIP The total number of Memberships at will be strictly limited and geared primarily towards Single & Joint Memberships,with the choice of 5 or 7 day usage to suit you. Membership of the Club can be secured through the initial one-off purchase of a Membership Certificate which can be likened to a conventional joining fee, except that you can transfer or sell your Membership Certificate if membership is no longer required. Annual subscriptions appropriate to your chosen membership type are then paid; these can be paid in full for the year or monthly via Premium Credit. The basis of the Membership structure is Single & Joint Membership: SINGLE MEMBERSHIP 1 adult 1 child up to the age of 18 years JOINT MEMBERSHIP 2 adults (related or closely associated) 2 children up to the age of 18 years Additional children can be added for an additional subscription. Membership Certificates for Kenwick Health & Leisure Club will be valid for ClubSpa@Kenwick Membership Certificate ownership is required for adult members only.
