Taerigii (h) Yopcha Jimgi (c) Dol/yo Chagi Article 45: PROCEDURE -INDIVIDUAL For each item a standard will be set by the Tournament Adjudication Committee a) Each board should be 30cm width x 26 length x 15 thick Differing sides is to make slire boards are placed properly in the machine b) In Power Breaking, it is permitted to make one step fonl'ard, to slide and to skip, as long as the c'ompetitor does not jump (as in the case of a jumping or flying kick), that means that one foot keeps contact \\'ith the floor at the moment of contact For SOllkal l'aerigi the strike may be eith~r inwards or outwards d) For each item, each competitor will have only I ilttempt to break, and only I prejudging of distance is ~IIlowed which is optional The competitor will adopt a ready posture in the form of either an L-stance lorearm guarding posture or a sitting ready stance posture On command from the Referee the competitor will be allowed to make I prejudging, returns to ready posture, then attempt to break in one continuous movement, and returns to the ready po'iture upon completion on the attempt (r('udy I)()sture pre-:judging reac0! posture hreak' ready posture) Upon the command signal, the competitor has 30 seconds to complete that item During prejudging the striking tool is allowed to touch the target softly If the referee l'eels that the touch is done with too much force, the referee may ask the board(s) to be changed c') Referees may disallow an attempt for failure in maintaining the following: correct ha!allce alld posture throughouttechllique correct allackillg tool ill the correct mallller nreferees must examine each board before each attempt \2,)Each broken/separated board will count as 3 points and each bend/cracked bocirdwill count as 2 points 11)The winners will be the Competitors with the highest scores after having attempted all items listed for Iheir group 22

5 i) In the event ofa tie the Judge will select (hydmwillkj one item to be the "tiebreaker" He will decide how many boards are to be used The tied Competitors will then carryon until the places are decided i) ITF approved metal holders must be used to give uniform resistance to break for all Competitors Article 46: PROCEDURE - TEAM The rules and procedures outlined in Article 45 apply to this event Each male team will select five (5) members and each female team will select three (3) members for this event Each member will attempt one of the breaking techniques The team with the most points at the end of the event will win Tie breaking will be done as in Individual Power, except using Team members Atirl{' 47: OFFICIALS FOR POWER BREAKING I Jury President 2 Referees I Recorder
