Any change in format of tournament, entry due date, etc. may be made by individual tournament director. 2 Panhandle Area Tournament Series Rules 1. Players may enter up to two events including 1 singles and 1 doubles. 2. All entries are due in the hands of tournament director 5 days (Monday prior to Saturday tournament) before the tournament. 3. The events are: 12 and under BS, GS, BD, GD 14 and under BS, GS, BD, GD 16 and under BS, GS, BD, GD 18 and under BS, GS, BD, GD Mixed Doubles ( Played on Friday Nights) 4. All matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with a tiebreak for the 3rd set. It is at the discretion of the tournament director to change scoring if desired. Mixed Doubles will be 8 Game Prosets. 5. The tournament will follow USTA guidelines on birthdates to be used to determine age division. 6. Results in one age division are not transferable to another age division. 7. Age as of July 1, 2013 will determine eligibility for Tournament of Champions. (Please keep this in mind when signing up for tournaments throughout the series) 8. If any draw fails to have at least 8 entries, the tournament director has the right to combine draws as needed. 9. Each player will be given no more than 15 minutes between matches if the tournament director deems necessary in order to run the tournament events. 10. Tournament Series TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS (to be played at the end of the circuit as seen on calendar). The Tournament of Championship is by invitation only. To qualify, players must be one of the top (8) point earners for the division in which they are playing. Tournament of Champions will have a $10 entry fee Point System: Players will be awarded 5 points for each win on the championship side of any draw in any of the P.A.T.S. tournaments from June 1 through August 1. 3 points will be awarded for each win in the consolation brackets. Point totals will be posted at each tournament and at the. At the end of the tournament series, the 8 players with the most points in each event will be invited to play in the Tournament of Champions. If a player can t play, the next highest ranked player available will take his or her place. Doubles Events: Points will be awarded to each player individually and the points will count as 30% of your Summer Series Ranking. Teams will be combined as follows: #1 ranked player will play with #8 ranked player #2 ranked player will play with #7 ranked player #3 ranked player will play with #6 ranked player #4 ranked player will play with #5 ranked player **All tournaments are run on an individual basis. The tournament director is the top person in charge of the tournament. The circuit and other tournament officials have NO responsibility for each individual tournament. All problems and complaints should be directed to the tournament director, not the circuit or members of the circuit. Page 2 of 5

The parent or guardian by signing below does hereby agree to INDEMNIFY and hold harmless the Panhandle Area Tournament Series and its representatives and the sponsoring entity from any liability which may occur to the entrant, howsoever arising and whether caused by the negligent or intentional acts of the Circuit, its representatives, or other sponsoring body.
