An avowed lover of all things urban, he has helped co-ordinate numerous public realm and park revitalizations, planning studies, and neighbourhood improvement projects. At 8 80 Cities, David has contributed to the Open Streets Project, and supports a number of initiatives related to public space, community engagement, and Open Streets programs. Trained as an actor, David firmly believes listening is the first step towards creating inclusive, accessible and dynamic cities for everyone. 2

3 TODAY'S WEBINAR PRESENTERS Rachel Hollar, Bike Walk Macon Rachel is a native of Evans, GA and a Mercer University graduate, with a BA in Social Entrepreneurship, Psychology, and Spanish. After graduation, she served one year as an English instructor in Thailand through Teach Thailand Corps, an opportunity that continues to fuel her interest in experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. Rachel is a 2015 K880 Emerging City Champion and the founder and executive director of Bike Walk Macon, Macon-Bibb County s first grassroots active transportation organization. She serves on the Main Street Macon Board of Directors and the Macon Area Transportation Study Citizens Advisory Committee. Rachel lives in Downtown Macon and loves that friends, fun, and work are all within walking and biking distance. TODAY'S WEBINAR PRESENTERS Jeff Chong, Open Streets Toronto In line with his decision to turn a passion for sports and physical activity into a career, Jeff Chong, a former investment banker, founded the Toronto Triathlon Festival (TTF). The TTF attracts over 1,500 athletes per year and has generated over $6.0 million in economic development since inception. The TTF has hosted Provincial and National Championships as well as the Official Test Event for the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. Jeff is also the Managing Director of Open Streets TO. In 2017, two program dates were staged and each attracted 60,000+ to the heart of Toronto s downtown core. Established in 2014, Open Streets TO has become a much anticipated program in Canada s largest city. The TTF is housed within Sports Focused Consulting (SFC), the consultancy for which Jeff serves as Managing Director. SFC provides a unique combination of finance experience, business acumen, sports passion and strong relationships in all of the corporate, government and sport sectors. Jeff and co. have undertaken work for entities including the Canadian Football League, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (owners of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC), Ryerson University and Royal Bank of Canada, to name a few.
