2 Approximate Travel Times Entire route = 65 minutes Christown to downtown Phx = 25 min. Downtown Phx to airport shuttle = 20 min. Downtown Phx to Mill Ave District = 25 min. Mill Ave District to Mesa = 20 min. Mesa to downtown Phx = 45 min. Travels at posted speed limits

3 Stations 28 stations, most in the center of the street. Stations have shade, drinking fountains, benches, art, plants Riders may ONLY enter or exit the train at the stations.

4 Safety Light rail is quiet! Listen for horn and watch for flashing headlights. Look both ways before crossing. Never stop, park, or stand on the tracks. Obey traffic signals. A red arrow means do not turn. Jaywalking is illegal and unsafe. Cross only at crosswalks and obey the crosswalk signals.

5 Safety Never try to beat a train through the intersection. Treat METRO high-voltage power lines with the same respect as utility company lines. When crossing the tracks on a bicycle, cross at an angle to avoid falling or tire damage. Skateboarding, rollerblading and riding bikes in the guideway or on the platforms is unsafe and is not permitted.

8 Hours and Frequency First full trip begins at end stations Weekdays: 4:40 a.m. Weekends: 5 a.m. 6:00 am 7:00 pm - Trains run: Weekdays - every 10 minutes Saturdays - every 15 minutes Sundays - every 20 minutes Before 6:00 a.m. & after 7:00 p.m. trains run every 20 minutes Last full trip begins 11 pm, ends at midnight. Friday and Saturday night: Last full trip leaves end stations at 2:00 a.m., reaching opposite end at 3:00 a.m.

16 Honor System No Turnstile! We are a proof of payment system. There is no turnstile on the platform, and no farebox on the train. Allows faster loading up to 200 people in 30 seconds. Must activate fare before boarding. Only passengers with activated fares allowed on the platform.
