Acronym Overview OS(A) Ontario Soccer Association, now Ontario Soccer EODSA Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association Local office/rep for Ontario Soccer ERSL Eastern region Soccer Association Youth competitive league U9-U18 OCSL Ottawa Carleton Soccer Association Adult league, competitive and recreational.
Technical Overview Technical Overview All Coaches need to be certified with Learn 2 Train and a PRC if on roster and/or helping at the field. Head Coach responsibility to let Registrar (JaneK) know of all coaches (roster/field). There should be no managers acting as coaches at practice. For those interested the OS has now change the next level of certification. The old Pre B has been replaced by the Provincial C license. It is a two weekend course that entails classroom and on field instruction. It requires the Coach to run a technical session and coaching a small sided game.
Technical Overview For the U11 Coaches you will be moving to 9 aside, rosters of 16 maximum and fixed rosters You can call up all players from your cohort (U9-12) but players can only play one game a week. The Club Technical Coaches (CTC Roland and Kyla) and myself (Fred) are available if you need to chat about tactical play on the field. At this age focus is on technical. For all age groups the CTC will be running a session for you in the Spring. The schedule has been shared with you and Roland and Kyla will contact you if they haven t yet. Due to the fact we are still doing assessments into April, and they might not be available that night.
Technical Overview We will also be running GK sessions in the spring and summer. Schedule and sign up sheet has been provided to teams. Cohort Plan; summer and fall cohort, along with spring training involving CTCs. Summer Cohort runs for 6 weeks starting May 29 th DA Moodie Location Schedule is posted here.
Technical Overview Ottawa Player Development Program (T1 Summer 2017) Founding Clubs; OCSC, OSU, WOS, OISC, CUSC, OGSC, CapU It is important to clarify that the OPDP is not a league. Rather, it is a cooperative player development program under the close supervision and direction of the Clubs Technical Directors. These seven clubs are fully committed to working together in an collaborative effort to increase and improve player development. Sunday night games
