1 Terms and Conditions- Standard Chartered Cup 2016 Standard Chartered Cup Sri Lanka - Local Competition These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 (the Competition ). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before deciding to participate in the Competition. 1. To participate in the Competition you must be over 18 years of age (as at the date of entry), have a valid international passport and must be eligible to travel to the United Kingdom (UK). By entering the Competition, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. In addition, you are representing that the details provided are true and complete. 2. The Standard Chartered Cup 2016 is open to all bank staff, Clients and Employees of Clients based in Sri Lanka. 3. The Competition will consist of: a. Phase 1 involves the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 tournament b. Phase 2 involves the winning team from the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 tournament travelling to Liverpool/Manchester, UK to view a Liverpool Football Club game and participate in a training session at the LFC 4. Phase 1 of the Competition will be held on Sunday, 16 October 2016 at the Campbell Park Grounds, Colombo 08. Details of the winning team will be posted on the country web site and Facebook page. 5. All entries should be by to bank.standardchartered@sc.com on or before the 5 August The winning team will proceed to Phase 2. The winners will receive: a) flights (return economy class tickets) to and from Liverpool/Manchester, UK b) airport transfer and local travel in Liverpool/Manchester c) accommodation for two nights in Liverpool/Manchester, d) viewing a LFC game, and e) participate in a training session at the LFC Academy (the prize components/the prize). Prize components are non-transferable and subject to availability. The Bank reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes which may not be of equivalent value at any time by notifying the relevant winners. 7. The winning team is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas. Travel and other insurances are not included in the prize, and the winners are strongly advised to take out insurance cover for all appropriate risks. All other expenses incurred in addition to the prize components expressly set out in clause 6. are at the sole expense of the participants. The Bank and/ or Liverpool Football Club is not responsible for any consequences, including costs incurred, if the participants visa application is rejected

2 or unavailable in time and reserves the right to withdraw the prize components if, for any reason, the participant is unable to travel as scheduled. 8. Participation is not transferable. The winning team cannot replace players for the prize. 10. All promotional images produced by the Bank, any member of the Bank group and/or the Agent associated with the Competition, entrants, winners and prizes will be the property of the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to publicize the names of winners, their photographs and their audio and/or visual recordings in periodicals (for example, the LFC Matchday Programmes and LFC Magazine), the Channels, the official websites of the Bank and/or any member of the Bank group. 11. The Bank is not responsible for entries to the Competition not delivered or delayed delivery to the addresses due to any technical or operational reasons. 12. You agree that any and all personal information/data relating to you collected by the Bank may be used and disclosed for purposes relating to the Competition and to such persons as may be involved in operating or promoting the Competition. Collection and use of your personal information/data shall be in accordance with the Bank s privacy statement which may be found at To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that the Bank will not be liable, under any circumstances and in any way, for any errors or omissions, loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your participation in this competition. 14. If you are in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions the Bank may immediately withdraw your participation in the Competition without notice. The Bank s decision shall be final. 15. The Bank reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any time if it feels it appropriate to do so due to technical, unauthorized human intervention or any other reason. The Bank may change any dates set for the Competition at its absolute discretion by notifying the relevant participants. 16. Your entry into the competition is deemed an unequivocal acceptance of these terms and conditions. 17. Phase 2 of the tournament will take place sometime in October 2016 in Liverpool/Manchester, UK (dates to be confirmed). 18. Accommodation in the UK: participants will be provided accommodation for 2 nights in Liverpool/Manchester. Please note that the participant is liable for any costs relating to damages. The hotel reserves the right to refuse services to any guests who do not adhere to their health and safety, general terms and conditions, or who cause a disturbance at the venue. Hotel rooms and event venues are non-smoking and any guests found to be smoking on-site or around the venue surrounding areas will be liable for a fine and will be asked to vacate the premises if any kind of disturbance or damage is caused. 19. Any specific dietary requirements must be provided at least 6 weeks in advance of the event.

3 20. Participants will arrive in Liverpool by 21 November 2016, and depart on the 23 November 2016 (dates and times may vary) 21. All participants in the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 (for the duration of Phase 2) participate at their own risk. Each participant will be required to sign a disclaimer before taking part in the training session at the LFC Academy. 22. The winning team of the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 will win one (1) Standard Chartered Cup 2016 for the team. 23. The winners may be required to participate in public relations events to generate press coverage for the Competition. This may include without limitation quotes given by the winners for inclusion in press releases, attendance at prize giving ceremonies, press conferences, interviews. 24. Standard Chartered Cup 2016 tournament format, rules and regulations are laid out in appendix 1. The Bank and / or Liverpool FC reserves the right to change the format, rules and regulations. These will be enforced by the referee, whose decision is final. Appendix 1: Standard Chartered Cup 2016: tournament format, rules and regulations: i) Tournament rules and regulations The following rules and regulations will apply to the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 tournament. Teams will be informed of any changes to the above rules on the match day in advance of play. If you have any further questions, please contact your Standard Chartered team representative. ii) Number of players Each match shall be played by two (2) teams of five (5) players, including the goalkeeper. A team shall comprise five (5) players and two (2) reserves, making a total of seven (7) members. Any of the other players may change places with the goalkeeper, provided that the referee is informed before the change is made, and that the change is made during a stoppage in the game. The Rules of the Competition allow for rolling substitutes to be used. The number of rolling substitutions is unlimited. This tournament is only open for armature players. iii) Players Equipment Footwear shall be worn in accordance with the Laws of the Game, and subject to any local regulations. (No metal studs or metal blades) The wearing of shin guards, which must be covered by socks in accordance with the Laws of the Game, is compulsory. Any player who fails to wear shin guards does so at their own risk. iv) Timekeeper / scorer The referee shall:

4 Record goals scored Act as timekeeper and signify full-time by a whistle Supervise the use of rolling substitutes v) Duration of the game The duration of the game shall be 10 minute matches with a 5 minute break inbetween games. No allowances will be made in games for stoppages except in extreme circumstances. vi) Start of play At the beginning of a game the choice of ends and kick off shall be decided by the toss of a coin. Play shall be started with a normal kick off at the centre of the pitch. The game shall be re-started in like manner after a goal has been scored. After any other stoppage the game shall be re-started by the referee dropping the ball at a point nearest to where it was when play was suspended, unless it was in the goalkeeper s possession, when the player shall, at the referee s signal, roll or pass the ball out. vii) Ball in and out of play The ball shall be in play at all times from the start of the game unless: The ball has crossed the goal-line, side-lines or the barricades surrounding the playing area; The referee has given the signal for full-time; The game has been stopped by the referee; When the ball goes out of play a member of the opposing team shall pass the ball into play. You cannot score directly from a pass in (throw in) viii) Offside There is no offside. Players may place themselves in any part of the playing area ix) Fouls and misconduct A player who unfairly impedes the progress of an opponent when not playing the ball shall be penalised by the awarding of an indirect free kick. A player who is sent off shall not be allowed to take any further part in matches during that stage (minimum 2 matches). No substitute is allowed for a player dismissed for misconduct during the game in which the offence occurred. x) Free kick / Penalty kick Free kick: When a player is taking a direct or indirect free kick all of the opposing players shall be at least 6 yards from the ball until it is in play. All

5 free kicks given against the defending side for infringements committed in or near the penalty area shall be taken from where the free kick was awarded. Penalty kick: A penalty kick shall be taken 10 yards from the centre of the goal being attacked, and except for the defending goalkeeper, only the player taking the kick can enter the penalty area until they take the penalty kick. All players can enter in their own and opponents penalty areas at any time apart from penalty kicks. Only the penalty taker and Goalkeeper are allowed in the penalty area until the penalty kick has been taken. xi) Goalkeeper returning the ball into play All goal kicks start with a throw. Remember they cannot go overhead height. After holding the ball the goalkeeper must immediately return the ball into play with a throw Goalkeepers must not hold onto the ball for more than 6 seconds. In the event of this happening the referee will award an indirect free kick. If goalkeepers receive the ball from open play, they can pass it with their feet. If they decide to pick it up then they must throw the ball. xii) General rules of the game Apart from the above rules the matches will be run as a normal game. Overhead height is permitted at all times. 25. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Sri Lanka.
