Chum salmon origin: Japan, Quantity processed till July 19, 2010: 1) 1-3lb: 20,000 lb=800 ctn 2) 6oz: 5,600 lb=560 ctn, 8oz: 10,400 lb=1,040 ctn 3) 6oz: 4,000 lb=400 ctn. Inspection time : July 19, 2010 Inspector : Yang Xue hong ======================================================================= Summary Finished packing today, inspection followed. Stockpile ok, a few cartons found to be crushed, ask to change these cartons during container loading. 20 cartons sampled for inspection, 1 carton markings are a little blurred. Skin on 8oz portion, color ok, C13+, vacuum condition ok, shape even, size ok. Skin on 6oz portion, color around C13, 3pcs with vacuum leak. Size ok, fat line 2-2.5cm. Skinless 6oz portion, color normal, some within C12-C13, vacuum condition ok. Fillet: 3pcs with vacuum leak. sizes normal, a little fat residue & blood on some bellies. Average weight result ok, average glaze rate, 8oz: 7.3%, skin on 6oz: 6.5%, skinless 6oz: 5.6%, and fillet: 5.4%. After thawed, color ok, no bones, 3 pcs parasite found. Moisture content: 76.78%. Cooking test ok, texture fresh & tender. Remarks: during sampling, 1 fillet carton broken, found 5pcs leakage, declared dropping on the ground. Further sampled some extra cartons, no leakage found.
