How are the gallop and side step similar? What cues can you give for the side slide? Running? Etc. How can you move at different levels/pathways/spaces/relationships/efforts? What are some strategies you can use to be successful at chasing, fleeing, and dodging? Time Frame Unit will last 4 weeks in duration (6-8 lessons) Each lesson should last approximately 30 minutes Specific Standards / Performance Indicators CCLS: RL.K.4 RL.1.2, 1.4, 1.6 Resources /Materials Shape America Common Core Learning Standards Books: Jonathan and His Mommy by Irene Smalls Hide and Snake by Keith Baker Children Moving by Graham Charts Vocabulary worksheet Word Wall or vocabulary chart Movement pictures Coloring sheets Cones or markers, whistle, music, speaker, computer
