If you are accepted to Miami University after tryouts this DOES NOT mean that you will automatically be added to the team. If there are spots still available, it will be left to the discretion of the coaches on whether you will be placed on the team. *Please note that all females are trying out for coed flyer positions. I have included with this application proof of a recent physical that is within 1 calendar year of the tryout date any sports physical will suffice. 3. I have included with this application a copy of BOTH sides of my medical insurance card. 4. I have included a 4x6 color full body picture and a separate headshot. 5. I have no health or physical defects that would hinder my ability to perform as a cheerleader. 6. I have filled out all Health History Forms. 3 Tryout Appearance Females Hair should be half- up/half- down, straight with a bow. (Bow needs to be either red or white and sit in the back, not on top of the head.) Red, black, or white sports bra with red or black spandex/shorts. White crew socks Make up should be natural with red lipstick. Cheer shoes NO JEWLERY! Remember, you are trying out to be an ambassador for Miami University and its athletics program. Come looking your best every day! Males Clean shaven Miami apparel and colors. (Red & White) Athletic shoes NO JEWELRY! Tryout Recommendations Coed Stunting (Females) Toss Chair Toss Hands Toss Hands Press to Extension (Encouraged) Toss Hands to Lib/Stretch (Encouraged) Toss Lib (Can be performed as a toss platform/target lib) Other stunting variations are welcome. You MUST be able to stunt with multiple partners. You MUST be open to trying new skills!
