4 From the Office of the President March 2017 Last month was so warm we raced our die cast model cars outside with the Chicago Corvette Club at Oak Street Grill in North Aurora. It was a fun event. See some of the pictures in this issue. Dan and Diane Wagner won trophies too. If you would like to do this at one of our club meetings, Chicago Corvette Club offered to bring their track to one of our meetings. Just let one of our committee members know. Our club has always supported deserving charities over the years. Sometimes you may wonder what impact our club has on those in need. Look in this edition for four letters of thanks we received from the charities we contributed to last year. Every contribution makes a difference. Our club has many events planned for this year and one of my favorites is the Galena Wine Tour on July 22 nd. See the flyer in this issue. There is a block of rooms reserved at the Chestnut Mountain Resort in Galena. If you are interested book your room early. Happy Motoring and remember to Save the Wave. Patrick Lopardo President Northern Rays LTD.
