A bunch of us have already been out and it feels great to be skiing in December! I always regard it as a bonus if I can ski before January. It looks like it s shaping up to be a great season. Don t forget our FLSC season opening party at Song Mountain s Moguls bar this Sunday, January 8. Hope to see you all there! On January 12, we have happy hour at Finger Lakes on Tap in Skaneateles, and again on February 10 at the new Refinery at Auburn Hilton Garden Inn. At last count, our club has 184 members and we are very happy about that! Welcome new members! We will be holding elections in March for president and secretary, as well as for seats on the board. It would be great if some new members would step up and volunteer! The club only works when we work as a team. LAST RUN Our club has been hit again with sad news Robert Bugsy Bugnaski passed away on Christmas Day. Bugsy was 63 and a member of several CNY ski clubs over the years. He had been a lift operator at Labrador Mountain in his retirement, and joined the Finger Lakes Ski Club on many of our western trips. We ll miss Bugsy on the slopes this year! 4
