2 8. Classes: 1. Pro Senior ( Age 16+ ) 2. Pro Junior (Ages 12 16) 3. Pro Cadet ( Age 7-12) 9. Entries: 9.1 Opening and Closing Dates: Opens 30 days before the event and closes 2 days before the Event. 9.2 Organiser reserves the right to accept late entries subject to an additional payment of Rs Entries received will be accepted by the organizer if found suitable in terms of driver and / or kart. The organizer has full authority to accept or reject an entry without a reason and this decision is final. In the case of non acceptance, the entry fee will be refunded in full. Entry fee will not be refunded on any other grounds. 9.4 Entry Fee Per round will be Rs It is the competitors responsibility to ensure he is aware of the rules and regulations of the event. 9.6 Drivers should have a valid competition licence issued by the FMSCI or their National ASN to participate. Drivers without the original will not be allowed to participate. International competitors, must have at minimum a national license plus a release letter from the ASN that has issued them the license. 9.7 All licences will have to be handed over to the secretary of the meet at the time of submission of entry. 9.8 Entries to be submitted to the following address: RR Motorsports Management Pvt. Ltd., 78 Kailash Nagar, 658 Tardeo Road, Behind Swati Snacks, Mumbai OR online at Minimum grid of 6 karts is necessary in each category. The organisers reserve the right to cancel a category or merge it with another similar category if the grid size is less than Entry fee can be refunded in only the following cases a. Entry is not accepted b. Cancelation of the event / category 9.11 In case a round is postponed due to Force Majeure reasons, the entry fee will automatically carry forward to the postponed date / round All entrants & drivers accept to adhere to follow all the rules laid down in these regulations.

3 9.13 If an entrant is unable to be present at any point of time during the event, they must nominate a person to represent them It is the responsibility of entrants & drivers to ensure that all aspects of a driver s equipment is in total conformity with the regulations at all times. Any violation of this will lead to the driver being penalised which can also lead to exclusion from the event The organisers reserve the right to restrict the entries to the first 18 received Entries can be submitted for a particular race of each round, however the entry fee will not change Any driver having their 7 th birthday in 2016 is eligible to participate in the Pro Cadet 9.18 Any driver who has their 13 th birthday before April 23, 2016 can not participate in the Pro Cadet 9.19 Any driver who has their 12 th birthday during 2016, can participate in either Pro Cadet or Pro Junior or both Any driver who has their 17 th birthday before April 23, 2016 can not participate in Pro Junior Any driver who has their 16 th birthday in 2016 can participate in either Pro Junior or Pro Senior or both. 10 Awards to be given At the end of the National Series the following titles will be awarded National Series Winner Pro Senior National Series Winner Pro Junior National Series Winner Pro Cadet National Series Team Winner Pro Senior National Series Team Winner Pro Junior National Series Team Winner Pro Cadet 11 Prizes and Prize giving: 11.1 Top 3 finishers of each race of each category will receive Trophies 11.2 Prizes : TBA 11.3 Organiser reserves the right to give additional prizes / trophies 11.4 Attendance at the Podium ceremony is compulsory for all podium finishers in their full race gear Competitors must compulsorily wear any caps / tshirts / jackets as given by the organiser If there are less than 6 entries in a category, the organiser reserves the right to reduce / eliminate prizes / trophies.

4 12 IndiKarting National Series: For each race in each class points will be given as per the following table Position 1 st 2nd 3 rd 4 th 5th 6 th 7th 8 th 9 th Points Position 10 th 11 th 12 th 13th 14th 15 th 16 th 17th 18 th Points Points from each race will count to a driver s overall score for the National Series after factoring Article Each driver must compulsorily drop their single worst points scored, from their overall tally After the completion of all races of all rounds, the in each class will be the driver who has scored maximum points after consideration of Article To count for the overall National Series a minimum of 3 rounds & a maximum of 8 rounds can be held The team of the winning driver in each class of the entire series will get the award for National Series Team Winner 13 Drivers Briefing: All Drivers will have to be present for all drivers briefings. Those who are not present may not be allowed to compete at the discretion of the COC / stewards. The location will be announced prior to the briefing; it is the driver s responsibility to ensure he is aware. Drivers under 18 years of age have to be accompanied by a guardian or parent. 14 Karts All karts used in all races will be one make as supplied by the organiser / their representative Karts not supplied by the organiser, will not be allowed for use Chassis used will be - IK Evo as supplied by the organiser Junior & Senior IK Cadet as supplied by the organiser Cadet Strictly no modifications / setup changes to the chassis are allowed, except where expressly allowed All drivers / entrants are responsible for their own karts Tyre pressures Free

Sprocket & Chain size must be standard as decided by organiser Bodywork Standard as supplied Seat Standard as supplied No changes / modifications / additions are allowed Engines used will be Honda GX 200 as supplied & sealed by the organiser Junior & Senior Honda GX 160 as supplied & sealed by the organiser Cadet Engines will be sealed by the organiser. Unsealed engines will not be allowed for use under any circumstances All engine components will be strictly original & standard as supplied Tampering / modifying / changing any of the engine components are strictly not allowed If a seal is found broken, that engine will not be allowed for use in competition If any engine appears to have an unusual advantage, the organiser reserves the right to replace any engine or component from any engine of any driver, at short notice without assigning any reason whatsoever. This will be done only in the interest of fairness amongst all competitors. There can be no protest on any such decision In the opinion of the organiser, if a competitor appears to have a disadvantage with any engine, in exceptional circumstances, the engine may be changed prior to qualifying, without any penalty. If the change is made after qualifying, a 5 place grid penalty will be applied to the competitor in the immediate next race.

6 Any engine change will be permitted as long as the replacement engine is sealed by the organiser No settings within the engine are allowed to be changed Tyres TBA All tyres will be of the same make, model & brand & must be issued by the organiser only No other tyres will be allowed for use Only 7 tyres (4 front & 3 rear) will be allowed for use for qualifying + each race of ALL 5 rounds of the series. These will be marked before use by the organiser & no other tyres will be allowed for use during qualifying & the races It is the competitor s choice whether to use marked or unmarked tyres during practice Marked tyres will be impounded after each event & given back at the next event Strictly no tampering / modifying of the tyres are allowed The same set of tyres are allowed for use by more than one competitor. However at no point of time can any competitor mark or use for themselves, more than 6 tyres as per Driver Weight Limits 15.1 For Pro Senior Min weight is 65 kgs 15.2 For Pro Junior Min weight is 48 kgs 15.3 For Cadet Min weight is 38 kgs 15.4 The organisers reserve the right to change the weight limits before the start of the first session, depending on the average driver weights in the interest of safety & fair competition Drivers will be weighed in their full driving gear prior to entering the kart Drivers who are less than the minimum weight, must add ballast to the kart Ballast if necessary must be added in a safe manner to the kart only. Ballast over 2 kgs in weight must be bolted with min 2 bolts of 6mm thickness each and atleast 1 nylon lock nut on each bolt. Ballast less than 1 kg can be fixed with one bolt; however atleast 1 nylon lock nut is compulsory. In either case, at least 3 threads of the bolt must be visible after the last lock nut. 16 Telemetry Not allowed 16.1 Only an RPM sensor / infra-red lap timing sensor is allowed. 17 Timing Devices Drivers are allowed to affix their own personal timing devices on the kart. Other than GPS / RPM / Infra-red lap timing sensor, no device should have any other sensors.

7 18 Video / Photography recording devices Drivers can mount their own video recording devices on the kart only. Devices are strictly not allowed on the helmet or body of the driver The organisers reserve the right to take / use any footage / photographs recorded during the event for any purpose deemed fit A driver does not have any right to deny the organiser in accessing & using any footage recorded by him / her Ownership of all footage during the event will lie with the organiser & must be given to the organiser when asked for. 19 Fuel: Only fuel allowed for use, will be provided by the organizer 20 Oil: Only oil allowed for use, will be provided by the organizer 21 Pre event Scrutiny of Pro Junior, Pro Senior & Cadet 21.1 Scrutiny of kart & driver gear as per article 22 will be done prior to Qualifying A competitor will be issued with an OK sticker once they have passed scrutiny The OK sticker must be stuck on the kart in a prominent location Chassis and sealed engines not supplied by the organiser will not be allowed for use & will not be issued an OK sticker Karts without an OK sticker will not be allowed on track for qualifying or any race A junior competitor & senior competitor will be allowed to scrutineer & share the use of single kart. Separate scrutiny will have to done by each competitor. However no time dispensation will be given if a kart is not ready for any session Multiple competitors sharing the same kart will have to scrutineer the kart separately & specify the race number in which they will be participating At the time of pre event scrutiny, the chassis & engine number will be recorded. Any engine change is subject to conformity & procedures as per article such a change must be recorded with the scrutineer A chassis change is allowed only if the scrutineer confirms that the chassis is undriveable due to damage. The replacement chassis must once again pass scrutiny & the replacement chassis no recorded. The driver will face a 10 place grid penalty in the immediate next race The clutch, carburetor, airbox & exhaust will be marked. None of these components can be changed without written permission from the scrutineer. If any participant / team wishes to clean these components, it must be done in the presence of the scrutineer & the component will then be re marked by the scrutineer.

8 22 Permitted Driver Gear 22.1 Shoes covering the feet, long pants / jeans / full sleeved jackets & full fingered gloves & minimum full face ISI helmet are compulsory Helmet visor must be clean, without cracks and capable of being shut properly Helmet strap must be properly fastened at all times while in the kart 22.4 Movable jaw helmets & moto cross helmets are not allowed Helmets must have clear visor if used when circuit lights are operational Failure to adhere to any of the above points will result in a driver not being allowed for the session or a black & orange flag. 23 Race Format Saturday Practice Sunday Practice + Qualifying Race 1 (Grid as per qualifying) Min Dist 5km. Max Dist 10km Race 2 (Grid as per entire finishing order of Race 1 reversed) Min Dist 5km. Max Dist 10km Race 3 (Grid as per total of points earned from Race 1 + Race 2.) Min Dist 5km. Max Dist 12km (Tie will be decided in favour of better qualifying position) At each event, a total of 6 sessions of 10 mins of practice will be available If a competitor decides to participate in only Race 1 Their grid position will be based on qualifying position If a competitor decides to participate in only Race 2 Their grid position will be decided based on their fastest laptime from a practice session. The positions for all such competitors will be behind the grid positions of all racers who have participated in race 1 & will participate in race If a competitor decides to participate in only Race 3 Their grid position will be decided based on their fastest laptime from a practice session. The positions for all such competitors will be behind the grid positions of all racers who have participated in race If a competitor wishes to participate in any 2 races, their grid positions will be decided based on a combination of articles 23.1, 23.2, In the situation where the organiser accepts more than entries, the organiser reserves the right to change the format to running heats & a final race.

9 24 Start Procedure 24.1 All starts will be standing starts Karts will be driven or pushed to the starting grid Grid will be a staggered grid seconds prior to the start all persons must leave the grid Race will start with the Red lights going off or a Flag being dropped 24.6 The entire kart must be behind the white line. 25 Jump Start 25.1 A jump start is, if the kart moves while the green flag is raised or the lights are on A penalty of 10 seconds will be added to the total time of the competitor 26 Race Finish 26.1 The end of the race will be marked by displaying the chequered flag. To classify as a finisher a competitor must cross the finish line under his own power, seated inside the kart and in his normal driving position After the chequered flag is dropped the competitor must return to the pits using the normal route and direction of the track and proceed to parc ferme and weighing. 27 Safety and Conduct 27.1 Conduct of the driver, his / her family, his / her friends and his / her crew / guests is the responsibility of the driver. There will be no tolerance to any sort of misbehaviour. Driver can be excluded for violations Drinking alcohol / consuming any intoxicants is forbidden No smoking in the pits & any official areas 28 Stopping the race 28.1 If there is any incident which may cause safety concerns, the race may be stopped. Should the race be stopped, a red flag shall be displayed and all karts will have to proceed to the starting grid Only drivers who crossed the finish line on the lap before the race being stopped may be allowed to re start If the Race was stopped in the first 2 laps Full Restart (Restarted race will be 2 laps less) 28.4 If the race was stopped after Lap 2 & before 75% of scheduled race distance, there will be a fresh race with the Grid position for the restarted race as per positions on the lap before the race

10 was stopped. The number of laps of the fresh race will be the original distance minus the laps run before the red flag came out If the Race was stopped after 75% of the race distance, the race results will be declared as per 1 lap prior to red flag The restart will take place 5 minutes after the stopping of the race. Standard race start procedure will be followed for the restart If for any reason a race can not be restarted with less than 75% of race distance covered & more than 2 laps covered, then, competitors will earn only half points. 29 Engine buy out As a condition to participating in the series, each entrant & competitor agrees to follow the engine buy out rule. This rule is introduced in the interest of fair competition & more importantly to remove any doubts that competitors may have about any other competitor s engine. For purpose of avoiding any confusion, the term engine consists & includes all its parts including - carburetor, air filter, exhaust, fuel tank, ignition, clutch. Accelerator cable & engine mount are not part of the engine. The implementation of the rule, will follow the procedure 29.1 If competitor A feels, competitor B s engine is good & wishes to buy that engine. Competitor A must fill the engine buy out form prior to the start of Race 3 of that event The form must be accompanied by an initial fee of Rs. 10,000 payable to the organiser & submitted to the organiser Immediately after Race 3, the organiser will take into custody, the engine of competitor B Competitor B must compulsorily surrender their engine Competitor A must pay an additional Rs. 20,000 within 4 days to the organiser Competitor B will now be given a brand new & unused engine by the organiser Competitor B will also be paid Rs as an inconvenience benefit Competitor A will be handed over the original engine of competitor B & the ownership will now belong to Competitor A. Competitor A will of course retain their own original engine as well & will therefore now have 2 engines Any competitor can exercise the Engine buy out rule a maximum of twice during the series, with an additional limitation of maximum once per competitor. (Therefore competitor A can use the engine buy out twice in the series, but can only buy out competitor B s engine only once.) Any form without payment or any form submitted after the start of Race 3 will not be accepted There is no protest / appeal possible on article 29 or any of its sub points

11 30 Post event scrutiny 30.1 At the end of every qualifying & race, each driver will be weighed directly after getting out of the kart, without consuming any food & drink. Prior to weigh in, no one is allowed to touch or hand over anything to the driver Any driver found less than their specified weight will be excluded from the session Any participant found using a non scrutineered chassis or engine will be excluded from the session. 31 Protests and Appeals Protest Fee is Rs. 18,000 & must be presented in writing within 30 minutes of a final race. The Appeal procedure will be as per the FMSCI s NCR. The appeal is Rs.96,000/- with Rs.48,000/- to be paid along with intention to appeal within 1 hour of the stewards decision and the balance amount with grounds of appeal within 96 hours. 32 Advertising 32.1 Organiser & their sponsor s branding is compulsory on the kart, apparel, overalls / jackets of the competitor in the locations as decided by the organisers. These locations & sizes can not be changed Competitor s / entrants can carry their own or their own sponsor s branding as long as it does not interfere with the organiser s branding as per article Branding which is conflicting to the organiser s sponsors, alcohol / tobacco / religious branding, etc. are not allowed Branding of any type which is directly or indirectly related to a tyre manufacturer or car manufacturer or a car brand, is strictly not allowed on the kart, on the competitior or at the venue Any non organiser branding must first be cleared in writing from the organiser Any violation of article 29 will result in the competitor denied access to the session / exclusion from the session. 33 Rights of the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to 33.1 Change the regulations of the event in the interest of safety / fairness Change the date or venue due to reasons of force majeure 33.3 Make additional rules by the issue of a CIB (Competitor information bulletin) All such changes / additions will be posted on the notice board. 34 Flag Signals As per CIK / FIA guidelines.
