In the game, freshman Michael Morgan posted a 3-for-4 outing at the plate, his first career three-hit game. Sophomore DaVonn Griffin hit his second home run of the season. - On the season, freshman Josh Jones leads the team with a.361 clip (seventh-highest in CAA) at the plate. Sophomore Harry Brown leads the team with five long balls. Senior Adam Sisk and sophomore Fox Semones are tied with 17 RBI. - On the mound, freshman Michael Bechtold has made five appearances on the mound, accumulating a 4.05 era in 6.2 innings pitched with a 1-0 record and three strikeouts. Bechtold threw 0.1 innings in a rough last outing against Elon (3/23). SCOUTING THE KEYDETS - On Tuesday evening, the Keydets stole 10 bases in the win over Longwood, 12-6 in Farmville, Va. - Against the Lancers, sophomore Michael Diobato went 1-for-1 with two walks, a hit-by-pitch, two runs scored and a RBI. Junior Matt Pita went 2-for-6 with two runs scored, a RBI and a program-record six stolen bases. - On the season, Pita leads the team in batting average (.385), runs scored (33), hits (45), home runs (7), RBI (27) and is tied with sophomore Nathan Eaton in stoeln bases with 18. Senior Matt Dunleavy paces the team in walks with This season, the Keydets have defeated two ranked teams, beating then-no. 19 South Carolina, 7-6 in Columbia, S.C. to open their season on Feb. 16 before slipping past then-no. 15 Virginia, 9-4 on Feb. 20 in Charlottesville, Va.
