To be placed on the agenda, a brief description of the project must be ed to ENG.TCTMC@lacity.org by 12 PM on Thursday in order to present the following Thursday. Additionally, it is the policy of the Committee to allow public comment on individual agenda items subject to such time limits as the Committee Chairman may deem appropriate. Appeals Committee The General Manager of the Department of Transportation, the City Engineer, the Director of the Bureau of Street Services, and the Director of the Bureau of Contract Administration, or their designees. The City Engineer shall be the Chairperson of the Appeals Committee. The Appeals Committee considers appeals regarding Worksite Traffic Control Conditions and night work. The President of the Board of Public Works decides those appeals heard by the Appeals Committee that end in a tie vote. If you would like to appeal the committee s determination, please ENG.TCTMC@lacity.org with your request. It is requested that individuals who require the services of a translator contact ENG.TCTMC@lacity.org no later than the day preceding the meeting. Whenever possible, a translator will be provided. Sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, or other auxiliary aids and/or services may be provided upon request. To ensure availability, you are advised to make your request at least 72 hours prior to the meeting you wish to attend.
