1 Rest Stop Bible 2017 Registration Finish Area Opens: 4:30AM for volunteers 5:30AM for registration Finish area Closes 4:30PM Porta Johns = 6 Main Contact: Eric Broadwell Ice: 1500 lbs Deliver at 4:30AM Location: 1425 Market Blvd, Roswell, GA Info: The Finish area is at SkyZone in Roswell. The registration and finish will be at the back of the parking lot opposite of SkyZone. Some parking will be needed as reserved for SkyZone customers at 11AM. We have asked for 200 chairs and 25 tables, 4 road closure barriers. Please drop ice on a grassy spot where the chairs and tables are shown to go. We are asking for 1300lbs of ice.
2 Rest Stops Rest Stop To Dos: After picking up everything for your rest stop at the start finish you will need to do the following: ASK ALL RIDERS TO NOT REACH FOR FOOD WITH GLOVES ON best if you serve them *Rest Stop 2 must call or stop by and remind gas station we are coming *Rest stop 5 must mow the rest stop area the week before the event Pick up Ice at the start finish (except Rest stop 6 and 7 it was delivered) Pick up supplies at start finish unless picked up Friday or Saturday If you have a bike rack, bike pump and metal chairs (2) bring those. Setup tent Setup tables Put out Rest Stop signs Start making Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches cut into quarters and layer into aluminum pan and separated with wax paper- make enough to last through an influx of riders. Use the heels as some riders ask for that. Mix the Gatorade 2 coolers are mixed and one is for water. Use marker and paper or duct tape to mark each WATER, GATORADE Orange etc Cut snack bars into two pieces and place in aluminum tin Pour out pretzels in to Aluminum tin use spoons for snack retrieval Cut oranges (1/4 s) and bananas (1/2) and place into Aluminum tin Put a cup in for Ice retrieval best if someone from the rest stop team scoops the ice so that sweat doesn t drip into the ice or food pans Cut up Pickles if you are a later rest stop and they aren t the mini ones You will have a HAM radio operator with the ability to talk to any rest stop and the home base. If you need something you can buy it and you will be given cash at the start finish for your receipt. Shut down: Pack up remaining items and take to last rest stop or to the start finish (call to confirm with central command) WASH OUT COOLERS The Gatorade will mold the coolers if not washed out completely and thoroughly Pick up all trash and bring to start finish. PLEASE leave it better than you found it Bring tent, tables and coolers to start finish DO NOT leave anything Rest Stop 6 and 7 bring tarp and stakes back

Buy extra ice at the gas station and submit receipt. Cash will be available for immediate payment at the start finish.

11 1. ARRIVE EARLY & **CAR POOL** - We have more registered riders than any other year! Come early and arrive by 6AM. 2. ALL RIDERS must wear their wrist band to ride on 400 & be lined up at 3. SAFTEY = Do not let your front wheel go past the rear wheel of the rider in front of you (Don t Overlap!) Space is Safe! 4. Limited Breakfast will be served by Trader Joes at Registration, we will also have bagels and Thousand Hills Coffee. 5. When riding in a pack (peloton) if you have a problem raise your hand to alert other riders and SAG vehicles. Once clear pull OFF the road. 6. Beware of the Crack! DO NOT ride in or near the crack between lanes on GA 400. Your wheel can get stuck in that crack and cause you to crash. 12 Weather Plan We will only cancel the ride if there is lightning and thunder. We cannot reschedule because the GA 400 permit only allows us a certain day and time. No refunds will be given. Rain itself will not stop the ride. If it is raining please use extreme caution. If you hear thunder or see lightening please stop and seek shelter immediately if it will not pass call the nearest rest stop and we will pick you up. Heat is a big concern please drink plenty of fluids and stop at the rest stops for food and more fluids. Thank you and if ever there is an emergency call 911.
