2 PRIORITIES BRONX, THE IV WHITE DRUGS / PUNK First album in five years by acclaimed los angeles punk act THE BRONX 'IV' is set for release on February 8. It is the band s first album in five years and comes as the group celebrates its 10th anniversary. NME hailed THE BRONX as brilliantly sleazy punk rock n roll, urging: Play it loud; for 33 thrilling minutes it ll make you feel like you can walk through walls. Since the band s last release in late 2008, the members have recorded two breakthrough mariachi albums as Mariachi El Bronx and toured widely under both names. THE BRONX comprising Matt Caughthran, Joby J. Ford, Jorma Vik, Brad Magers and Ken Mochikoshi Horne is currently on a major European tour with The Hives. The band will set out on a national U.S. tour around the album release in February. Australia loves THE BRONX and the feeling is mutual. The band played their first sold out show anywhere in the world in Sydney back in Since then the band have returned many times, festival appearances including multiple Soundwaves, Big Day Out 2012 and multiple sold out headline runs. The album will be available digitally, with a very limited run of physical copies available in-stores.
