2 Alisha Bolivard Birthday: 2010 Alisha is a quiet and timid child until she gets to know and trust you. When she is comfortable with you, she s chatty, playful and giggly.
3 Christine Clovis Birthday: November 27, 2011 Christine is now successfully potty trained!! She s a little monkey who loves to climb and sing songs. A very active and playful little girl, Christine is now starting to talk.
4 Alexandra Louis Birthday: November 9, 2012 Alexandra is a very bright and alert little girl. Unfortunately, she was born with club feet and attempts are now being made to get her a medical visa to go to the United States to have this corrected. Despite her limited mobility, Alexandra is determined to be independent. She tries very hard to pull herself up to a standing position and crawls everywhere.
5 Johnathan Moise Birthday: August 13, 2008 You can tell by his picture that Johnathan is a happy little boy. He has a great deal of energy and loves to play games and watch movies. He has no physical disabilities and goes to school outside of the orphanage.
6 Tassie Espoir Birthday: 12 years old When Tassie first came to the orphanage he was non verbal. He is now beginning to use words though many are still not clear. Tassie loves to help others and be useful and busy. He helps the physically handicapped children to dress and always volunteers to help feed many of them. He s a great little boy with a big heart.
7 Marise Jeanne Birthday: 2008 Marise has big, beautiful eyes. She had surgery for club feet and had to have casts on for 10 months. Now she walks everywhere, exploring her world. She is very curious and eager to be participate in all activities. She has an active imagination and is beginning to talk.
8 Gabrielle Valcius Birthday: June 6, 2004 Gabrielle loves attention and physical contact. She s curious and eager to be a part of all activities.
9 Wilcia Joseph Birthday: January 27, 2006 When Wilcia first came, she was extremely malnourished and could barely sit up. Now she sits up straight and is beginning to walk. She s very alert and watches everything that goes on around her. When she smiles, her whole face lights up.
10 Valencia Saint Vil Birthday: May 4, 2004 Though Valencia is in a wheelchair and has quite limited control of her movements, she smiles and laughs often.
11 Christine Espoir Birthday: June 15, 2005 Christine is in a wheelchair but she is very aware of her environment and seems to understand much of the conversation that goes on around her. She tries very hard to coordinate and control her hand movement as she enjoys colouring and playing with toys.
12 Woodmeyer Violent Birthday: September 16, 2004 Woodmeyer is quite severely handicapped and requires assistance with all aspects of daily living. Despite this he often smiles and sometimes laughs.
13 Alain Espoir Birthday: May 15, 2003 Alain is confined to a wheelchair and has very limited movement. He has difficulty communicating his needs and wants, but he often laughs and enjoys physical contact.
14 Oskar Renel Birthday: July 12, 2011 You can tell by the smile, that Oskar is a happy boy. He is in a wheelchair but is learning to sit up on his own in therapy. He s nonverbal but communicates well with his facial expressions.
15 Jude Espoir Birthday: June 15, 2004 Jude was blind from congenital cataracts. These were surgically removed in However, Jude is both physically and mentally handicapped and it is difficult to discern from him how much he can now see. Jude has a beautiful voice and loves to sing.
16 Jean Daniel Innocent Birthday: October 22, 2004 Through sheer determination on his part, Jean Daniel learned to walk unaided. He has a huge smile and enjoys interaction and attention.
17 Forlan Espoir Fully sponsored Birthday: March 13, 1999 When Forlan first arrived at the orphanage, he was very anti-social. He will now seek out interaction with others. He is nonverbal and it is difficult to determine just how much receptive language he has.

19 Junion Fils-Aime Birthday: March 13, 1993 Junior, as everyone calls him, is a very social young man. He has established a job for himself at the orphanage as the keeper of the gates and security guard. He lets everyone in and out. He s very friendly and eager to interact and help others. His speech is difficult to understand but he loves to talk with people.
20 Cade Michael LaConte Birthday: December 12, 2003 Cade enjoys going for walks. He is nonverbal but can communicate his needs well through gesture. At first, he was very scared at horse riding therapy but now he loves it.
21 Brilner Auguste Birthday: June 14, 2002 Brilner has the cutest smile. He loves to go for walks and play keep away. He is non verbal but very social.

Maxo was blind when he came to the orphanage but he received surgery for congenital cataracts in February of He is now learning to use his sight. Maxo is non verbal but extremely friendly. 28 Derson Birthday: January 7, 2012 Derson is also very new to the orphanage. When he first came he was severely mal nourished. He is also severely handicapped with CP. He now likes to be sat up and can turn his head to noise. He laughs when tickled and likes to be sung too.
29 Phonsley Emile Birthday:November 24, 2009 Though Phonsley has CP, he is determined to try to do everything the other children do. He is also determined to walk and can push his own wheelchair. He loves to learn and play.
30 Louvia Duvert Birthday: March 10, 2012 Louvia suffered burns to her arm and face when she was 4 or 5 months old. Though most of her right hand was destroyed, she has recovered well and is an alert and active little girl. She can do almost everything that any 2 year old can do. She s sweet and loving.
31 Nadia Espoir Birthday:November 28, 2013 Nadia is the youngest child at the orphanage. Everyone loves to hold her and play with her. She was very malnourished when she first arrived but is now healthy and alert and thriving on all the attention that she receives.
32 Luckson Guerrier Birthday: August 12, 2002 Luckson has only been at the orphanage since November of 2013, but he has adjusted very well. He goes to school outside the orphanage. He loves to play football with the other boys. He s a bright, helpful and cooperative young boy.
