1 LITHUANIAN DANCE FEDERATION LIETUVOS ŠOKIŲ Lietuvos šokių federacija (LŠF) one and only International Dance Federation (IDF) representer in Lithuania Purposes of the event: Connect different age, different dance styles collectives, dancers, dance teachers and dance enthusiasts, reaching to fully represent our participants interests, reaching professional perfection, making conditions for realizing your own abilities and potential in Lithuania and all over the world. According to International Dance federation practice, approve and use clear and united concrete dance styles rules in Lithuania, which guarantee useful collectives participation not only in Lithuania, but also all over the world. To create united dancers ranking system, which, by using concrete criteria, would help to assess preparation and improvement of the collective. According to international practice create dance teachers assess system and for those who deserve, to create conditions to get international category judge qualification.

2 LIETUVOS LITHUANIAN DANCE FEDERATION ŠOKIŲ Regulation: Festival - championship Eurodances 2013 Open World Cup to IDF World Championship will be based on International Dance federation rules. NAME OF THE EVENT: PLACE: Eurodances 2013 Open World Cup to IDF World Championship,,Cido arena, Parko g. 12, Panevėžys DATE: 2nd March, 2013 BEGINNING OF THE EVENT: SIZE OF THE DANCE PLACE: REGISTRATION RULES AND TERMS: DANCE STYLES: 10 a.m. GMT +2; Registration begins at 9 a.m. GMT +2 10m x 10m Prior requests for participating in the event can be sent to the s lietuvossokiufederacija@ gmail.com or info@lsfdance.lt until the 23rd February, :00 hour. After 23rd of February applications might be applied only after getting confirmation from the director of the event, with condition that the participant payment will be higher. Important filled your collective application for participating in the event is the agreement with all festival rules. Show dance; Street dance; Hip-hop dance; Belly dance.

3 FEDERATION RULES AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATING: For all situations which are not mentioned in these rules, solutions will be taken by technical committee or IDF representer. ALL DANCES WILL BE ASSESSED BY THESE CRITERIAS: The parameter of Technique is expressed by: execution of dance technique/s chosen to build the choreography, execution of technical elements, movements and figures (position, elegance, timing, balance, body control, difficulty level of lifts and supports, safety while executing lifts and supports, variety and quantity of figures). The parameter of Synchronization is expressed by similarity of figures and body movements of all dancers (legs, shoulders, upper body). The points of Choreography are given for figures, moves using in the dance, fulfill of the theme, composition, creation of show (for show dance). The points of Artistic impression are given for groups entrance and exit of the stage and behavior on the stage, dance theme fulfilling. BEHAVIOURAL NORMS: Representing the dance, the group must fulfill all dance place/stage. Group number must be clearly seen (it will be given before the event when the group comes and makes registration). It is forbidden for participants to talk with judges during the events. If there are any questions, director of the event or the event staff will answer it). We hope that participants will be ethic. E.g. during the performance will not chew gum. ENTRY FEE: Belly dance style dancers (not Lithuanian dancing Federation members) pays the charitable entry fee - 35 Lt. Belly dance style professional dancers the charitable entry fee - 60 Lt. Dance Group (not Lithuanian dancing Federation members) the charitable entry fee pays the entry is 35 Lt for one dance team member. Dance group (Lithuanian Dance Federation members) pays the charitable entry fee - 25 Lt for one dance team member. If one dancer is going to perform in more than one dance, nomination he must to pay additional charitable payment 10Lt.

4 FEDERATION CATEGORIES: Show dance, Street dance, Hip-hop: Solo (1 participant); Duo, the pair ( 2 participants) ; Small groups (3 7 participants); Formation (8 16 participants). Belly dance : Solo ( 1 participant) professionals ( 3 performances are necessary: BELLY DANCE FOLK, BELLY DANCE SHOW, RAKS EL SHARKI /ORIENTALIS); Solo ( 1 participant) nonprofessionals; Duo, the pair ( 2 participants); Small groups (3 5 participants); Group (6 8 participants); Formation (8 16 participants). AGE GROUPS: For Show dance, Street dance, Hip-hop categories: Children (2005 and younger); Pre-juniors ( ); Juniors ( ); Adults (1997 and older). Belly dance : Children ( ); Juniors ( ); Adults ( ). The age of participants determined by the date of birth with the identity document. If the other collective teacher sees that the dancing collectives member is not in the right age category, he is able to inform or give a complaint to the IDF representative, director of the event or the staff of the event, only during the time when the group is dancing. After that, any complaints will not be applied.

5 FEDERATION BELLY DANCE FOLK: 1. All Middle East folk styles are allowed. 2. Choreography must represent only one of the styles. RAKS SHARKI (ORIENTALIS, tarab, modern): 1. The style is fitted to IDF is Egypt Raks Sharki. 2. The dancer is able to use mantle during the entrance. 3. Drums composition must be less than 30% of the all dance. 4. Music classic east composition or classic song. 5. Costume must be classic east, matching with the style. BELLY DANCE SHOW 1. Choreography must represent eastern culture with various dance styles. E.g. Jazz, Classic ballet, Modern, Latino, Drums solo, Flamenco / Oriental and Aspani Raqs and else. 2. Additional items which help to show the culture are allowed. 3. Choreography must have clear idea. BELLY DANCE TRIBAL FUSION - GOTHIC - AMERICAN STYLE: 1. Tribal Fusion Belly dance, American Tribal Style Belly Dance without requirement for choreography. 2. Costumes must match with the performing style. 3. Music must represent Tribal Fusion Belly dance, American Tribal Style or Gothic Belly Dance styles. 4. Matching technique.

6 FEDERATION DURATION OF THE DANCE MUSIC: Music duration for all styles 2:00min 3:00 min. Exceeded the limit, the music will be terminated. Dance music must be recorded to the separate CD. In this CD must be only one song, on the top of it must be written: name of collective, name of the dance, performance category. DJ must be informed when to start the music (before entering the stage or when the performers are on the stage). The organizers of the event leave the right to correct the rules of the festivalchampionship in case it is a must. AWARDS: There will be published the winners of I, II, III, IV, V, VI places. The teacher of the collective who wins 1st place gets opportunity for free registration to get international judge license and opportunity for his collective to represent Lithuania in the World Championship (Hungary, Nagykanizsa 2013m. 22nd 26th of May only Lithuanian collectives can win this prize. The winners of I, II, III places will be awarded with diplomas and cups. The winners of IV, V, VI places will be awarded with diplomas. MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION: During the event, there will be filming ant photographing. All rights to the video and photos belong to the organizers Lithuanian Dance Federation. Ask the organizers if you need accreditation. The organizers of the event are not responsible for the injuries during the event. We recommend to have health insurance on the day of the event. The organizers of the event are not responsible for lost items. Meals are not included to the price of registration. Participants will be able to buy some food in the cafeteria in the arena. 10 dancers can be accompanied by one teacher or responsible person. Spectators can enter for free (it is forbidden for spectators to go behind the scene). Registration forms must be filled by the dance club teacher or responsible person. There is a limit of the places in the event. The collective who will send all documents firs gets the opportunity to participate. If the event would become very popular, the organizers have the rights not to apply all sent registration forms.
