NOV. 13, 2011 CONTACT: THOM SIMMONS DRAWS ANNOUNCED FOR 2011 CIF SOUTHERN SECTION-FORD 11- MAN FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS, PRESENTED BY FARMERS LOS ALAMITOS Pairings for the 2011 CIF Southern Section-Ford Championship Football Playoffs, presented by Farmers were announced at CIF-SS headquarters today, matching 208 teams in 13 divisional brackets. Weekly preliminary-round games leading to the divisional championship contests Dec will get underway with first-round contests on Friday, Nov. 18. Game times are 7:30 p.m., however contests may start at another time if mutually agreed upon by both competing schools and approved by the CIF-SS office. The No. 1-seeded teams include: Rancho Verde (Central Division); Summit (Eastern Division); Sierra Canyon (East Valley Division); Centennial/Corona (Inland Division); Covina (Mid-Valley Division); Westlake (Northern Division); Bishop Union (Northeast Division); Lompoc (Northwest Division); Servite (PAC-5 Division); West Covina (Southeast Division); Beckman (Southern Division); Villa Park (Southwest Division) and Serra (Western Division).
