GymTyme All Stars offers athletes of all ages and abilities the opportunity to grow and develop under the supervision of professionally trained coaches. There is no better place to experience the world of competitive cheer and dance than GymTyme All Stars. Our athletes will develop the skill and confidence to perform at the highest level of competition. From our coaching staff to our facility, GymTyme All Stars is proud to offer a premier All-Star program. Team Placement All tryout athletes will demonstrate their skill in jumps, tumbling, stunting and choreography. Team placement will be based on age and overall abilities across all skill sets. In some cases, an athlete may not have the required minimum tumbling skills to make a certain level team, but possess other skills that would be beneficial to a certain team. Team rosters will be comprised of members whose talents provide the best chances for success at competition. GymTyme reserves the right to place athletes on the team which they are best fit within that program or any program of lesser commitment. We will not place athletes on a commitment level above the customer s choice. All returning member accounts must be current to tryout for the season. Private tryouts are available upon request for an additional $50 fee. Please contact the front desk to schedule a time.

3 Program Cost The cheerleading season runs May through April. Tuition covers weekly practices, Sunday practices and additional practices. Tuition is divided into 12 equal installments and is collected on the 1 st of every month. Monthly tuition cannot be prorated for any reason and is non-refundable. In April 2019, the final monthly installment will be collected. Back Handsprings & Round-off Handsprings Standing Tuck & Jumps to Tuck Intermediate/ Advanced Stunt Dismounts Fulls & Double Fulls Intermediate/ Advanced Baskets Jumps & Motions Extended Single Leg Stunts Standing Tuck & Jumps to Tuck Tumbling Clinics Cartwheels, Walkovers, Round Offs- These clinics are designed to teach beginner and basic tumbling skills. Jumps and Motions- These clinics are designed for all level athletes. The clinic will focus on jump and motion technique and stretching to improve/enhance jumps. The clinic will also teach a motion sequence to introduce new athletes to motions. Back Handspring and Round Off Back Handspring Clinic- These clinics will focus on obtaining or improving the standing back handspring, back handspring series and the round off back handspring/back handspring series. Tucks and Layouts- The Tuck and Layout Clinics will focus on obtaining/improving the round off back handspring tuck/ layout. The athlete will also work on standing tumbling to tucks/layouts. Standing Tuck and Jump to Tuck- These clinics are designed to help the athlete with standing tucks and to start jumps to tucks. For example: Toe Touch, Back Tucks. Fulls and Double Fulls- These clinics will help athletes who have mastered the layout with fulls and double fulls. The athlete will work on running, standing and specialty passes into these skills. Arabians, Front Tucks, Whips, Baranis- This clinic is for more advanced athletes who are ready to begin specialty passes. These passes include front tuck step outs, arabians, baranis, and whip backs. Stunting Clinics Shoulders and Below- This stunt clinic is designed for beginner bases, flyers and back spots. It will focus on all stunts up to prep (shoulder) level. Dismounts This clinic will have 2 skill levels; Beginner & Intermediate/Advanced. Beginner will work on sponge, straight cradles, and dismounts out of stunts such as walkovers and rolls. Intermediate/Advanced will focus on twist cradles, specialty cradles and dismounts that involve flipping and inversions for more advanced athletes. Baskets This clinic will have 2 skill levels; Beginner & Intermediate/Advanced. Beginner will focus on basket throwing, catching, and flying technique for straight rides and beginning body shape baskets such as tuck, pike, and toe touch. Intermediate/ Advanced will work on twisting baskets and specialty baskets such as kick fulls, kick doubles, etc. Extended Single Leg Stunts- This stunting clinic is for bases, back spots, and flyers who are ready to begin working fully extended single legs stunts such as liberties, scales, arabesques, stretches, over-stretches, etc. Inversions- This clinic is for intermediate/advanced bases, back spots, and flyers who are ready to begin stunts that involve upside down and head over heels rotation.

5 Tryout Process All Star evaluations will be May 16 May 24. We will announce teams on Friday, May through notifications as well as posting teams in the Member s Only area of our website. Week 1: May 16 18, 2018: Athletes will come to their designated evaluation time (listed on the schedule below). To ensure your athlete is properly evaluated, please have them here for the full scheduled dates/times. If for some reason your child cannot be here, please notify the front desk prior to your absence. Unexcused absences will negatively effect your child s evaluation. NEW THIS SEASON: Athletes trying out for TRAVEL, that are completely new to our program, will be evaluated separately from returning athletes, in addition to their age appropriate groups. This will help ensure we have a good understanding of their skills prior to call backs during week two. Each NEW Travel athlete will come 5/16, 7:00 9:00 PM and then again on 5/17 or 5/18 during their age group. Week 2: May 21 24, 2018 (CALL BACKS): Athletes will come in during the time slot the staff has requested them to return during. These time slots will be Monday Thursday, 6:00 9:00 PM. Athletes age 7 and up should be prepared to come in twice during this week, athletes age 3-6 should plan on only needing to come in to one time slot. 7 REGISTRATION Creating a Family Profile and Registering through the iclasspro Parent Portal New families must do this immediately. Current GymTyme athletes will use their existing profile. Please do not create a duplicate profile. Your username is your address. 1. Go to the GymTyme All Stars website;. 2. In the top right hand corner of our website, click the red box labeled Sign Up. This will take you to the iclasspro Parent Portal where you can complete the registration process. 3. After you have entered your information you will be able to register and view your account through the parent portal. 4. Choose All Star Evaluations from the left column. 5. Select the appropriate program and/or age group to help narrow down the options. All Star Evaluations BE sure to click SUBMIT button to apply your selections CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION We require all of our All Star families to have a credit card on file. Once logged in, please scroll down and select Manage Payment Options from the sidebar on the left. Please enter your credit card information and save it to your account. New athletes must wait until June to register to ensure their registration is applied to the season. Select SIGN-UP/ RENEW Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Athletes that are brand new to all star cheer should select New Members Only athletes returning or transferring from another gym will need to renew their membership. 9 Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk I, hereby certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of who is under the age of eighteen. As the parent or legal guardian an in consideration for the membership granted herein, I hereby, agree to release and hold Louisville Cheer & Dance Company, LLC /GymTyme/ GymTyme All Stars, as well as its owners, agents, officers, directors, shareholders, instructors and employees (collectively referred to herein as The Gym ), harmless from any liability, claim, injury, da mage, loss or cause of action which may result from participation in any way related to cheerleading, dance or gymnastics instruction and the use of the facility and its equipment. I agree to identify and hold harmless The Gym from all Third-Party Claims against it relating to my child/athlete. I understand there are inherent risks associated with the cheerleading, dance or gymnastics programs in which I propose programs and certify that me to be involved, not including but not limited to sudden changes in blood pressure, irregularities of heartbeat, dizziness, fainting, strained muscles, sprains and broken bones. I have freely, knowingly and voluntarily undertaken these programs and certify that my child is in good physical condition and is able to utilize The Gym s equipment and facility. I have no knowledge of any condition, physical or mental, which would prevent or limit my athlete from participating in these programs. I agree that The Gym has no ability to independently investigate the health and physical condition of my athlete as it relates to his/her/their ability to tolerate the proposed programs. I understand that The Gym is relying upon my certification to them that I have obtained appropriate clearance for my athlete to engage in such programs from competent medical professionals. If I ever have reason to believe that my child is not in god physical condition, I will notify the gym in writing with my specific concerns and the timeframe for which any limitations shall need to be in place for my child/athlete. I will be sure to keep the current emergency contact information on file with The Gym at all times. I further agree to hold harmless the owner and operator of the real estate where such training will occur from any obvious defects in the premises, including but not limited to The Gym, parking areas, common areas and walkways.
