Kids will be able to learn some superhero moves with a lesson from Spiderman himself, dance away with Rapunzel and sing to their hearts content in harmony with Moana! Entry includes a photo opportunity and a certificate for your child to take home. 6 per child, free for adults. Check website for times and availability. Razza Roller Disco If you re looking to strap your skates on and let your hair down, the Razza Roller Disco has your name all over it! Perfect for all the family, these roller disco and swegway sessions can be enjoyed in half hour time slots throughout the day. All you need to do is turn up, pull on your dancing boots or step on your boards and off you go. No excuses; the Roller Disco provides skates from infant size 13 to adult size 11, so everyone can glide along and enjoy the music alongside friends and family. Swegway is available for children aged 7+ and adults. Prices from 6 per person. Nicky Trix Magical Theatre Show Nicky Trix has been putting magic into parties, theatres and events for almost 10 years and now he s bringing his theatrical show to the Kids Expo for the first time. This promises to provide great entertainment for the whole family, as Nicky showcases his unique blend of award-winning comedy magic and ventriloquism. 9 romfordrecorder.co.uk Friday, April 27, 2018 KIDS EXPO 9 Get ahead and discover great ideas for the school holidays We have lots of FREE activities to try in our main exhibition hall, offering your children the opportunity to discover something new and find out what they like! The Expo is also a fantastic place to learn about what s on in the summer at local holiday camps. SMASH Camps at Stubbers Adventure Centre will be in attendance, challenging the kids to scale the rock climbing wall and asking them to show their skills on the surf simulator, just two of the activities on offer at their 130-acre outdoor space on Upminster s Ockendon Road. As well as holiday camps and birthday parties, they are offering Friends and Family weekends this August, too. Ben Woodock, Head of Operations at SMASH Camps, said: Our Family and Friends weekends give people the opportunity to turn their backs on their normal patterns and enjoy proper quality-time with those they love. It might be one family of four who want to pitch their own tent, or maybe they want to meet up with friends they don t see often and hire one of our canvas bunkhouses. Regardless, we know we ll help them to have a fantastic time with us. For something slightly more relaxing, let your little ones take part in some messy play with 360 Play Basildon. Known as one of the biggest and best children s soft play centres in the region, Play 360 are at the Expo to host arts and crafts sessions, some plate-spinning fun and a chance to grab a photo with their very own mascots; Twizzle and Twirl. Does your child love to get competitive? Great! If you fancy something a bit more active, how about a bit of rugby? Adrian Cuthill of Rugbytots says: We offer rugby sessions for boys and girls aged 2 to 7 in an inspiring environment, so our little rugby players learn new skills whilst having fun! Finally, if your child loves science experiments (or indeed, even if they don t), be sure to pay a visit to Madscience, the concept aiming to spark the imagination of children everywhere through the wonders of science. Dr Dude of Madscience tells us From after school clubs and workshops to birthday parties and holiday camps, we use exciting demonstrations and hands-on experiements to engage children all over the UK. Established for more than 10 years, Madscience is set to be one of the main draws of this year s festivities.
