4 Creating a Slip Coil for Speed Starting with a 30 foot length of 4.5 mm hemp linen Run the line through your hands to find the center bight.

5 Creating a Slip Coil for Speed (Cont d) Place the center bight over the lead thumb (remember where the bight is). Begin figure eight coiling over index fingers the center bight should be the shorter loop... as you continue until the ends are at the deck.

6 Creating a Slip Coil for Speed (Cont d) Grasp the center of the coil. Working from the end of the coil Begin frapping turns around the coil.

7 Creating a Slip Coil for Speed (Cont d) Continue, switching hands when necessary until reaching the end. Secure the line by tucking a bight under the last turn.. Note the center bight is the shorter loop.

8 Quick Arm Binder Grab the center bight of the Slip Coil. Pull out about an arm s length and place the bight over your wrist.

9 1. Create a Single Hand Slip Knot Cross the far end of the line over the near end using third finger grasp the near end with the third and fourth fingers and let the bight drop over the line from the wrist.

10 2. Secure the Right Wrist Place the slip knot over the sub s wrist. Twist the secured wrist to the small of the back and cross the working end over the free upper arm.

11 3. Secure Left Upper Arm Grasp the Slip Coil from under the arm and standing line. Pull the Slip Coil up and over the standing line and bring the line over the opposite shoulder.

12 4. Bring Around the Neck Crossing at the base of the throat guide the working end of the line around and across the opposite arm.

13 5. Secure Right Arm Reach over the standing end of the line under the arm to grab the line and pull it through. Reach under the secured arm and standing line to grab the working end.

14 6. Turn at the Standing Line Form a bight that turns under the standing line. Bring the unsecured wrist to the small of the back and use your index finger to hook the loose line of the bight.

15 7. Bind the Wrists Together Bring the bight around both wrists. Form a second bight from the loose line and pass it through the first.

16 8. Secure the Left Wrist Create a half twist on the second bight and pass it over the wrist. Pull the working end to cinch.

17 9. Secure the Wrist Binding Use the working end of the line to run a frapping between the wrists and secure with a half hitch around the lines that form the bottom of the diamond.

18 10. Finish the Tie Finish with a second half hitch. The binder is both simple and effective.

19 Partial Suspension for Punishment

20 1. Secure the Wrists Slip the center bight of a 36 foot length of 8 mm hemp between the arm and torso and begin frapping the wrists. Continue frapping until you have three wraps.

21 Secure the Wrists (Cont d) Cross the bight over the frapping and under the wraps. Secure with two opposing half hitches.

22 2. Frapping the Torso (First Line) Run the working end over the arms and around the torso below the areolae under the standing part of the line.

23 3. Frapping the Torso (Second Line) Create a turn at the thoracic spine and run the working end over the arms and chest to the bend at the center of the back.

24 4. Secure the Torso Frapping Create a second bend through the first and secure with an opposing half hitch. Separate the two lengths of working line.

25 5. Cinch the Frapping Lines (Right) Form a bight with the first length and thread it between the arm and torso over the lower frapping. Pass it back under the frapping and cinch tight.

26 Cinch the Frapping Lines (Right Cont d) Wrap the remainder of the working end up and over the frapping lines. Secure by passing the working end under one frapping line and tucking it through the last wrap.

27 6. Cinch the Frapping Lines (Left) Form a bight with the second length and thread it between the arm and torso around the frapping on the other side again securing with by cinching tight.

28 Cinch the Frapping Lines (Left Cont d) Wrap the remainder of the working end up and over the frapping lines. Secure by passing the working end under one frapping line and tucking it through the last wrap.

29 7. Attach a Suspension Line Using an 18 foot length of 8 mm hemp pass the ends under the frapping lines... on either side of the standing line at the wrists.

30 Attach a Suspension Line (cont d) Form a series of three opposing half hitches... with the center bight of the rope to secure the line to the upper body harness.

31 8. Create Suspension Line Lever (cont d) Run the working end through the suspension ring then the center bight of the standing part and back through the ring to form the lever.

32 9. Secure the Suspension Line Pull on the working end to tighten and secure with a series of three opposing half hitches.
