As we put word to parchment, January is practically passed and February is near on its heels. GE of the Stone was a wonderful event. 114 people came to experience the sights and savory offerings of the Orient. Vivat to Lady Stella and the entire staff for such a beautiful day. This month will see US attending Nottinghill Coills Baronial birthday, as well as Ymir. There will be a day shade, at field side for any populace members who may not have their own shade. For NCBB we have asked the populace for items for a gift basket, which we would be able to give to Takada and Arielle to celebrate the birthday of Their Barony. If you have anything you would like to donate, please contact Lady Isobell (The Baronial Largess Coordinator) or Lady Annice Argent (The Baronial Minister of Arts and Sciences). Please note that everything need not be handmade. Stamps, first aid items, duct tape, sewing notions are always wonderful items to be gifted and often find immediate use. We thank the populace of Sacred Stone for their assistance in showing our sister barony s the generosity and talents of the populace of Her peo- ple. The next event which we are attempting to put together a gift basket for will be Coronation. Again, Lady Isobel will be happy to instruct anyone willing to contribute to this endeavor. At last month s meeting, We brought a few things to the attention of the populace: The creation of the Baronial Beautification Project. To help aid in the design and creation of new gonfalons to adorn the Baronial encampment. We would like each of these to include Spike, the two headed Phoenix, and then the registered badge of each Canton and Household within the borders of Sacred Stone. We are looking for individuals to help with this project. If you are interested or have further questions, please contact Alianor. We will be attending Gulf Wars. While we are not camping within Kingdom lands, we will be directly across the road, staying with Utgard Halls. We are trying to set up court for the week and more information will be posted as it is available. We will also be attending Pennsic, and are hoping to revive the Baronial encampment. To this end, we are looking for someone willing to Steward the Baronial camp. Do not worry if you have never done so in the past. If you are interested in giving it a try, Alianor has run Pennsic camps for many years, and will be glad to assist wherever necessary. As always, we cannot begin to convey how proud we are of Sacred Stone and all of her people. Everywhere we go, we see Her populace assisting here, helping there, displaying this or creating beautiful things. It is an honor to stand in support of such wonderful people. The Emerald, the Pyrite, and the Stone. The competition for badges for this and the Baronial Populace badge will be held at SAAD New Chairs of State are needed. The Baronage is going to Gulf Wars they need to know who of the populace is going, they would like to have a Baronial court. The Baronage is also going to Pennsic War. They would like to move the Baronial camp back to the Serengeti. They also are looking for a land agent, this will be up for further discussion at a later meeting Kids toys are needed for the toy box used during court. Award recommendations are needed. Please send them to their Excellencies personal s. Their Excellencies would also like to be personally introduced to any newcomers at events. Her Excellency is also interested in making Banners to decorate the Baronial encampment at events. All interested in helping with this contact Her Excellency. Seneschal Report was turned in on time. Until the Kingdom gets and approves paper work the outgoing officers are still the active officers. There is a combat archery mailing list for interested parties. Waviers must be signed and checked at all practices and turned into the Seneschal of the group to turn into Kingdom. Baronial Archery Challenge is on going check the baronial e-list. MoAS More displays and more competitions are encouraged. Working on setting up YMIR workshops for garb. Don t forget about KASF. Chatelaine Newcomers pavilion is availa- ble for any event. Just contact her and she ll being it or arrange for it to be there. Same with Gold Key. Chancellor of Youth Report was on time nothing to report. Autocrats if you can please help with a small budget of 25 dollars. A list of needed supplies will be forth coming.

4 Chirurgeon Please at events designate your Chiurgeon in charge. So we can bring our equipment. Webminister The site is being worked on. New web minister is getting ready to take over. Herald Award recommendations. We have a Signet now; congratulations Bera. She will be assigning scrolls to the Baronial Scribes to insure that no-one is over burdened with work. Congratulations to the new Kingdom of Avacal. My lady and I would like to organize a gift basket for Sacred stone that can be added to the Kingdom s if it is forth coming, if not we will send it on to Avacal ourselves. Please send submissions to isobelmuire@gmail.com Canton Reports Charlesbury Crossing There have been several officer changes. Seneschal's report filed and on time. Middlegate Ge was a great success with 114 attendees. A&S nights have are on going and awesome. Canton has had several officer change overs as well. Aire Faucon A&S nights are on Thursdays. There is a Flight of the Falcon Bid in the works. Reports are and will be filed on time. Crois Brigte SAAD is coming. A&S at Oshi and Sine s will be posted. Things are going well. Salesbrie Glen No meeting in December. Regular fight practices continuing. Lots of Kids getting involved and as a consequence parents. Hope to have 7 Kids authorized by/at Ymir. Reports are in on times. Crecy is coming.

5 Other Business Old Business Populace Badge: Competition at SAAD. New Feast Gear: 3 boxes each box has place settings for 4 people, meaning we have place setting for 12. It is clear glass. Each box has a pie server, a serving fork, and a serving spoon. They also include: 12 water glasses, 12 forks, 12 knives, 12 spoons, 12 bowls, 12 large plates, 12 small plates, and 12 green chargers. The purchase came in under budget by 35 dollars. 12TH Night: 325 people in attendance. There are left over prints from the Gallery, contact Caitlin to purchase, she d like to get rid of them. Storage Unit at Castle Site: Continuing discussion about options. The decommissioned tractor trailer is no longer deemed acceptable. There is a possible option that is being discussed, it is a quick set up Metal building, but size versus cost is the main point of contention. Discussion was tabled until an appropriate size could be determined. If we went with this option we would be leasing the unit from Dubhghall New Business Feast Gear: is there enough left of the old feast gear to make loaner gear out of? Tabled. Can we used the Left over money to make protective sleeves for the new stuff, next meeting. Signet : Funds requested to help with scroll creation to be awarded Her Excellency had a lot to convey to us so she got most of the time for the meeting. The next baronial meeting will be at or near the Castle Site because so much work has been done on the site and the autocrats of the Barony need to see it. The meeting will be on February 15th. Signet: Position has been created to insure that scroll assignments are being handed out in an equitable manner.
