The University will be provided with menu options available at the Hotel. In the event the University elects to arrange its meal plan through the Hotel, the University shall provide the Hotel and U SPORTS with its menu selections on or before 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, November 16, Please note that the Hotel prohibits bringing outside catering into the Hotel. U SPORTS and the Vanier Cup organizing committee will be coordinating a full schedule of events for nonparticipating All-Canadians that will be traveling to Hamilton. The events include: - Participation in the All-Canadian Gala dinner on Thursday evening. - Community outreach to local children s hospital and elementary school on Friday - Friday night social - Saturday involvement in the Flag Football Championship, VIP Breakfast and fan fest (autograph signing) - Student-athletes that participate in this will have lunch and dinner on Friday, breakfast Saturday morning provided by U Sports. 7 - All transportation on Friday and Saturday will be provided. **More information to come in subsequent bulletins 5. TEAM SERVICES 5.1 JERSEYS / UNIFORM & NAME PLATES: Football Playing Regulations 5.3.2: U SPORTS (Bowl Games and Vanier Cup) Teams will be required to grant permission for the placement of name plates on the back of player jerseys, at institutions cost and at the discretion of U SPORTS JERSEY COLOURS UTECK BOWL WINNER WILL BE DARK AND THE HOME TEAM. MITCHELL WINNER WILL WEAR LIGHT JERSEYS. 5.2 EQUIPMENT: 1. Game Ball: Wilson Football 2. Other Equipment: a. 1-2 BIKES WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOUR USE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AT THE STADIUM. b. BENCH TOWELS ARE AVAILABLE, HOWEVER SHOWER TOWELS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. 5.3 THERAPY / MEDICAL SERVICES: 1. A Doctor will be available on site during the Game. 2. Therapy Tables will be present at the Stadium. Ice is available upon Request. 3. Teams are expected to bring their own supplies. 5.4 UNIFORM LAUNDRY 1. Laundry will be available. MEDIA SERVICES 6.0 PRACTICES: All practices will be open to the media and U SPORTS Communications will be available to assist with interview requests and questions 6.1 MEDIA CONFERENCE: U Sports Policy : When a media conference is scheduled at a National Championship, participating team representatives who fail to attend as scheduled and as outlined in the Championship Information Bulletins, will be in violation of published CIS policy and therefore sanctions will be applied as outlined in policy Date : Thursday, November 23 Start Time: Site: Dress: 10:00-11:00 EST, Business Alliance Room (Gate 3 2nd Floor) Business Attire (Head Coach AND players with Team poloshirt On) Please note Each participating team must bring 25 hard copy media guides to the media conference with additional access to digital distribution Head Coaches and TWO players (One Captains AND the Quarterback) are required to be in attendance.
