6 OUTING PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES (To ensure a successful event, please provide all participants with this helpful information) Our staff takes pride in New England Country Club and strives to provide you with superior service and the best playing conditions possible. To achieve this, all outing participants have a responsibility to make sure they do their part to ensure the event is successful. This includes, respecting the golf course, its property (carts), following proper golf etiquette, respecting other golfers and our staff. Should anyone exhibit behavior that is not appropriate, they will be escorted off the course and will be asked to leave the property without a refund. START TIME: Participants must check in at least 30 minutes prior to tee off time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals FACILITIESAVAILABLE: Full Practice facility is available - please plan to arrive up to one hour in advance Food & Beverages will be available on the golf course during your event (no coolers allowed on the golf course) TEE STRUCTURE/GOLF RULES: For the enjoyment of all abilities, we highly recommend men play from the white tees and women from the red tees. USGA Rules apply. If requested, a list of Local Rules will be provided to your team captain. PACE OF PLAY: For the enjoyment of the outing group, we do require all groups to keep up with the group ahead of them. Slow play will only result in the outing banquet being delayed until all groups have turned in their scorecards. Please be considerate of your group and keep pace! DRESS CODE: Players must wear regular golf shoes with non-metal spikes, smooth soled tennis shoes, or jogging shoes. Care must be taken not to scuff the feet when walking on the greens. Collared shirts are required. Jeans, tee shirts, tank tops, cut-offs, short-shorts, and sweat pants are NOT allowed. ALCOHOL POLICY: Responsibility matters! We do take our responsibility as an alcohol server seriously. We do monitor consumption carefully. For everyone s enjoyment we do expect full cooperation from all participants. Please do understand, Mass. State Law prohibits anyone from bringing and consuming their own alcohol on NECC property. Anyone found doing so will be asked to leave the golf course, without a refund. Alcohol will be confiscated and not returned. Our goal is for your entire group to have an enjoyable and successful day -- your full cooperation is key! GOLF CART/PROPERTY RESPONSIBILITY: For insurance and safety purposes, Golf Cart Drivers MUST be over the age of 18 with a valid drivers license. Otherwise, underage drivers WILL BE REMOVED from the golf course for the remainder of the event - with no exceptions. For everyone s safety and to maintain top quality golf course conditions, GOLF CART DRIVERS MUST OBSERVE THE DAY S POSTED GOLF CART RULES AT ALL TIMES. GOLF CARTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON OR NEAR THE TEES, GREENS OR SANDTRAPS OR IN THE WOODS Full cooperation and respect of NECC property are fully expected by all for the event to be a complete success! Individuals will be held accountable and financially responsible for any damages to the golf carts and/or golf course property they have caused. Golf carts are routinely checked before & after your tournament. In the event of a damaged cart, the tournament chairperson will be immediately notified of the participants that were in the damaged golf cart. 9 TOURNAMENT RESERVATION AGREEMENT Agreement Date: Please read and understand the following terms and conditions. If we do not receive within fifteen days a signed copy of this agreement together with your deposit, we cannot guarantee your requested date and starting time. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The undersigned person represents that he/she is the authorized representative of the group described below who wish to organize and attend a golf event at NECC. 2. A Copy of this proposed agreement must be signed and submitted to NECC along with a deposit within fifteen (15) days after receipt. Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to total charges. (see cancellation clause below.) 3. The final number of players must be confirmed and full payment of the balance due must be made at least fifteen (15) days prior to the event. A list of players by foursomes should be submitted to the Golf Shop as soon as possible. 4. Current fees and charges quoted below are subject to change consistent with any revised schedule of such fees and charges in effect at the time of your golf event. 5. All groups are expected to play at a speed consistent with playing conditions and observe proper golf course etiquette and safety factors. Players shall at all times play without undue delay. Any group causing delay to other players may be requested to either pick-up and move to the next tee or allow play through by the foursome behind. 6. PERSONAL FOOD AND BEVERAGES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES AT ANY TIME. No refund if event is cancelled less than 31 days prior to scheduled tournament. 10 RELEASE OF LIABILITY The coordinator of this event is agreeing on behalf of the group or organization to release NECC (and all of its employees, managers, owners) from any and all responsibility or liability for any injury or illness resulting in the consumption of any food or beverage which NECC did not prepare, distribute or provide. In addition, the reserving individual/organization or department is responsible for ensuring all food safety policies are in compliance, including displaying this waiver at the event. The coordinator is also required to acquire a certificate of insurance from the preparer of the food and/or beverages donated for the event.
