The Rolex Tournament of Champions field includes 23 junior boys who have signed a National Letter of Intent to attend a Division I school in the fall and will get a sneak peak of the course this week. USGA/AJGA Presidents Leadership Award Brandon Pierce of Covington, La., and Cassie Wang of Lenexa, Kan., will compete on exemptions after being named 2012 Presidents Leadership Award winners. Both will be honored and formally presented the awards during the Rolex Dinner of Champions, Thursday, June 28.

2 2 Jutanugarn domination In 2012, the Jutanugarn sisters have picked up where they left off. Moriya began the year with a victory at the Scott Robertson Memorial, with her younger sister Ariya finishing third. However Ariya successfully defended her title at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship and picked up another victory at the Thunderbird International Junior so far in Her 18-under-par at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship broke her own record from last year as the lowest 72-hole score in AJGA girls history. Ariya lost in a sudden-death playoff to Gabriella Then in 2011 and looks to claim her fourth AJGA Invitational victory at Capital City Club. Defending the Peach State Nine players from the state of Georgia will compete in the Rolex Tournament of Champions. Seven of the nine have committed to play golf at the collegiate level. 3 3 Top Players to Watch Matthew NeSmith, North Augusta, S.C. (2012) The most recent AJGA Invitational champion will look to add another win to his resume on the Crabapple course. He began 2012 with wins at the Polo Golf Junior Classic over Thanksgiving and recently at the FJ Invitational, where he also claimed a coveted PGA TOUR exemption into the Wyndham Championship in August. AJ McInerney, Henderson, Nev. (2012) McInerney has been successful in recent Invitationals. After winning the 2011 PING Invitational, he recorded two runner-up finishes in both the 2012 HP Boys Championship at Carlton Woods and the Thunderbird International Junior. He will be playing in one of his last events before heading to UNLV in the fall. Shannon Aubert, (France) Reunion, Fla. (2014) Ranked No. 2 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Aubert won the Kathy Whitworth Invitational. In AJGA play, the three-time Rolex Junior All-American also finished second at the ANNIKA Invitational in January and tied for third at the Thunderbird International Junior on Memorial Day weekend. Jaye Marie Green, Boca Raton, Fla. (2012) Green recorded seven top-10 finishes in 2011, including a victory at The PING Invitational on her way to first-team Rolex Junior All-America honors. At the event, the AJGA will provide: Information about the tournament and its participants leading up to the event Assistance with player interviews before, during and after the tournament A golf cart to make covering the tournament as easy as possible Assistance locating players on the course A recap with results after each tournament round in a timely manner During the week of the tournament, the AJGA will have three communications representatives on hand to assist the media. These media officials will write an AP Style recap and produce agate results each tournament day. These will then be faxed and/or ed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors can be conducted before or after every round. The AJGA website, ajga.org, is a tremendous media resource.
