1 TRAVEL TRADE GROUPS Booking Policies & Procedures Group Size : The maximum number of guests per tour is 16. If your group exceeds this number, you will be separated into groups of equal size not to exceed 16 per group. Payment : Upon booking, a confirmation and invoice will be faxed or mailed. Groups are required to pay a deposit of 25% of the total invoice. Final payment must be made upon arrival in one single payment. Tunnels of Moose Jaw will give one complimentary adult pass to one tour guide and one bus driver. Arrival Time : Groups should arrive ½ hour prior to their first tour. Due to the limited availability of tours, Tunnels of Moose Jaw may be unable to accommodate late arrivals. In the event no other tours are available, the deposit is forfeited. Cancellations & Changes : Notice of cancellation or changes to your groups numbers must be received 48 hours prior to tour date. If 48 hours notice has not been given and tour is cancelled, the deposit is forfeited. If your group has a reduction in numbers, no refunds will be given after the 48-hour deadline. Numbers may be increased only if space is available. 1

2 Product Information : Each tours takes approximately minutes. Guests assume a role on each tour, that of a bootlegger in the 1920s or a Chinese coolie around Each tour features amazing spaces, intriguing artifacts, animatronics characters, multi-media presentations and surprising special effects. Passage to Fortune : This tour begins in the late 1800s with the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in British Columbia. It follows the story of a fictional Chinese immigrant, Mah Lee, from his home in China to his eventual home in Canada. Guests see the challenges experienced by early Chinese immigrants, their unfair treatment by government and their ultimate acceptance. Some of the topics covered are: Construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway Conditions in China that led to migration Coolie brokerage The Head Tax and the 1923 Chinese Immigration Act Racism Construction and uses of the tunnels Chicago Connection : This tour takes place in 1927 when Moose Jaw was known as Little Chicago. Al Capone ruled Big Chicago and Police Chief Johnson ruled Moose Jaw. Guests are invited into Miss Fanny s Club but soon find themselves underground with Gus, one of Capone s henchmen, running from the law and maybe into trouble. Some of the topics covered are: Bootlegging Prohibition The rise and fall of Al Capone American gangsters Moose Jaw in the 1920s 2

5 Net Rates (Schools) Net Rates (All Others) Net rates for Tour Operators are the same for any group being booked. The difference for Tour Operators booking school groups is the method we categorize the Guest types. For school groups we categorize the guest types by grade. For all other groups we categorize guest types by age. The reason we do this for schools is so that all students in a grade are charged the same rate. 5
