Our facilities receive again hundreds of players and supporters of different countries that visit us to enjoy hockey and life. To all of them we wish a glorious competition as well as a happy stay in our Club and in Barcelona.

2 TOURNAMENT PARTY TICKETS ON SALE The Organising Committee of the World Grand Masters Barcelona World Cup is proud to announce that tickets for the Tournament Party are on sale. They can be purchased through this link at a price of 68 euros (food and drink included). The deadline to get them is Sunday 27th of May. The Tournament Party will take place on the evening of Thursday 28th of June in the RC Polo terrace, just beside the Polo field in a spectacular spot of the Polo Club. All visitors will enjoy a cup of cava at the begginning; there will be good spanish food and wine, live music and some surprises in a casual wear evening. The dinner menú is: Strawberry gazpacho with Modena vinegar infusion, Roasted duck confit with red berry sauce and Cheesecake with mango coulis. Bread, Red and White Wine, Cava, Soft Drinks and Water included. We highly ask all teams to buy the tickets together, in a single purchase. Thanks for your help.

3 HOW TO FIND RC POLO Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, the host of the WGMA World Cup, is located in the north of the city and it has several connections with public transport that make it very easy to reach it from anywhere in Barcelona. The Line 9 (Orange) of Barcelona Metro connects directly the Club (Zona Universitària station) and the airport in 30 minutes. Also the Line 3 (Green) connects RC Polo with all tourist spots (Ramblas, Passeig de Gràcia, Plaça Catalunya, Port, Gràcia district, etc) and Sants and Plaça Espanya main train stations. Zona Universitària metro station is only 50 metres away from the Club. There are also some buses that take to RC Polo from the city center and a tram (light train) line that goes to Plaça Francesc Macià, an important financial and shopping area. From RC Polo it s also easy to reach Castelldefels pitch by train or bus. From Sants station (Metro Line 3) three different lines take to Castelldefels town. The fastest one only takes 17 minutes. Very close to RC Polo, line L97 of Bus takes to Castelldefels in 35 minutes. From Barcelona downtown (Plaça Catalunya) line L95 also connects with Castellfels by the seaside. 4 INTERNAL RULES AT RC POLO Real Club de Polo is a private club with more than members and its own internal rules. All guests can access the club facilities, but cannot make use of tennis and paddle courts, equestrian area, swimming pools and gyms; these can only be used by members. However, there s a chance to access to the Royal Fitness Area of the Club (swimming pools, gym and spa) for 25 per day with limited capacity. Those interested in should ask for this offer in the welcome desk. Sportswear is allowed everywhere except the main restaurant and cafeteria, where casual wear is required. A bare torso in the social club facilities is not allowed: club terrace, indoor facilities, etc. Dogs are allowed in outdoor spaces, but not in indoor facilities, and must be on a leash. Smoking is not allowed in indoor facilities or in children s areas. We kindly ask you to respect the rules for friendly coexistence with Club members.

5 DAILY LUNCH MENÚ AT 20 EUROS All players and teams staff who want to have lunch at RC Polo will have the option to get a daily Menú at the Centenary Hall of the Club. It will have a cost of 20 and will include two courses, plus dessert, drinks (water and bottle of wine per table), bread and coffee. It will not be necesary to book a table in advance. Centenary Hall opening times will be from 12 to 4 pm.

6 PHYSIOTERAPHY OFFER FOR ALL DELEGATIONS The RC Polo has a medical area where two physiotherapists will be available to delegations for arranged visits. The allocation of shifts, prior to the tournament, will be made through a request via to sares@sares.cat And during competition days you can call extension: 124 Service for TEAMS 1- Physiotherapist during the tournament: 60 / day You will have a full service in which a physiotherapist will be available for one hour prior to the game, during the game and three hours later.
