2 INTRODUCTION On December 13th, we organize the U23 FOIL INTERNATIONAL OPEN TERRASSA This is a male and female competition included into the Spanish National Ranking. The inscription is open for the international fencers and will be scoring in U23 European Circuit. The Catalan Fencing Federation, the Ciutat de Terrassa Fencing Club and the Spanish Royal Fencing Federation, with the support of Terrassa s Council, the Catalan Sport Council and the Union of Sport Federations of Catalonia, organize this competition. Besides, Saturday, December 12th, FCE, FIE and RFEE celebrate the Junior World Cup Terrassa 2015, a men foil junior competition. This is an official championship of the fencing World Cup s international circuit.

4 REGISTRATION INTERNATIONAL OPEN: This fencers who participate in the World Cup, must also register at the Open Sub23 if they wish to participate. This fencers which have not been registered previously, will not accept to the Open. There are three registration procedures depending on the type of fencer. Each fencer must register exclusively the correct way: a) Category sub23 fencers Any nationality fencers born between 1993 and 2001 (inclusive). Fencers must be in possession of the European Fencing Confederation license. Registration procedure: through the web Deadline: According to rules of registration of European Confederation. b) Fencers with RFEE license senior over 23 years Any nationality fencers born in 1992 or earlier. Fencers must be in possession of RFEE license. Registration procedure: Following the usual procedure through the application of RFEE licenses. Deadline: According to rules of RFEE registration.

5 c) International fencers senior over 23 years Any nationality fencers born in 1992 or earlier. Fencers must be in possession of a national federation license other than the RFEE. Registration procedure: Send an to copadelmon@esgrima.cat with the following information of each fencer: o Names and surnames o Date of Birth o Club to which you belong o Nationality shooter o Nationality or sports license o Contact or Deadline: registration before December 7, 2015 at 23: 59h. WORLD CUP: Registration must be done by the national federations through the FIE website. ENTRY FEE The entry fee will be paid to the competition Secretary when the fencer s confirmation will take place. INTERNACIONAL OPEN: 10 WORLD CUP: 15

6 REFEREE CONTRIBUTION INTERNATIONAL OPEN International fencers: will be by national delegations, following the european confederation rules. Fencers with RFEE licence: The contribution of referees will be by clubs, following the rules of contribution of referees in the TNR RFEE competitions. The deadline to book a referee in advance is December 7th. The referees shall be confirmed at the fencer s confirmation time and must be at the disposal of the Technical Directory throughout the competition. They must confirm their presence on the day of the competition at 7:30 h at the Directoir Technique. WORLD CUP The contribution of referees will be done by each country following FIE rules for Junior World Cup competitions. SPORTS HALL The competition will be held at the facilities of the Can Jofresa Municipal Sports Hall, Terrassa's biggest indoor sports hall. Pavelló Poliesportiu Municipal de Can Jofresa C. These are the agreed rates for the nights of December, 11 th, 12 th and 13 th. The hotel has booked rooms for the Fencing World Cup participants. However, from December 1 st, any of those rooms remaining free, will be then available to the general public.

9 TRANSPORT Transport Barcelona Airport (El Prat T1) Terrassa Park Hotel The organization offers a transport service from Barcelona airport (Terminal T1) to Terrassa for arrivals, and also from Terrassa to Barcelona Airport for departures. Transfer service Booking: In order to make use of this service, you must book it by filling the Request Form and mailing it to copadelmon@esgrima.cat before Friday November 27 th. Download Request Form here or find it attached to this document. Pick up points, and all terms of service are specified in the Booking Request Form. Deadlines and service availability: Please respect deadline. Requests received after Friday November 27th will be also considered, but be aware that in that case service won t be granted unless shuttle availability allows it. We will do our best to satisfy every request. Nevertheless, service might be unavailable if demand exceeds our vehicle availability, which would be notified to you well in advance. Confirmation: After requesting booking, between December 1 st and December 2 nd you will receive a confirmation mail confirming service availability and scheduling your pick up exact times.

Those delegations which have not booked their shuttle service will as well be able to make use of it on the go, having their waiting time adapted to schedule availabilities. Transport from Hotel Terrassa Park to Pavelló Poliesportiu Municipal de Can Jofresa (World Cup venue) The competition's official hotel is located at a distance of approximately 200 meters from the sports hall where the World Cup will be held. Therefore, the participants do not need any means of transport to get there. The journey to get to Hotel Terrassa Park takes 45 minutes, approximately.

11 DOPING CONTROL Doping control will be performed at World Cup by the organization s official doctor, following the FIE regulations. VIDEOREFEREE There will be videoreferee at the World Cup from semifinals. BAR SERVICE There will be an open bar service for the fencers and their companions on the day of the competition.
