1 RUNMAGEDDON RULEBOOK I. THE AIM OF THE EVENT Organising a sport event in the borderland of an extreme and mass sport competition aiming at both supporting and promoting physical activity, which requires to join: 1. Various physical activity skills; 2. Rivalry and competition; 3. Physical effort and great fun. II. ORGANIZATOR All the Runmageddon events (including regular races, races for kids, trainings) are organized by Extreme Events Ltd, headquartered in Warsaw (02-972), al. Rzeczypospolitej 2/20, registered under the KRS: with the starting capital of 9,000 PLN and by Fundacja Runmageddon, headquartered in Warsaw, ul. Chełmska 9/143 with the KRS: (correspondence address of the two companies: ul. Śródziemnomorska 35, Warszawa), called later Organizator. III. DESCRIPTION This event is aimed to deliver fun, while being excused by physical exercise and competition for the title of the toughest runner. The obstacles on course will verify your agility, jumping ability, stamina and above all, the mental resilience of the participants. An ability to distance yourself a bit from what's going on will be necessary, as we won t let anybody complete the race in clean clothes IV. RACE DATE AND VENUE 1. The events take place on the territory of Poland. The venue, time and all the details regarding the race are available on the Organizator s website: called later Website. 2. Only registered participants can take part in the race. 3. The organizator can change the date and/or place of the race. The Participant will be informed about that via not later than 24 hours before the start of the race. The information will also be published on the website. The changes made will not have any financial consequences for the Organizator. V. RACE DATE AND VENUE 1. The events take place on the territory of Poland. 2 VI. PARTICIPATION 1. The competition is open for all persons who will be 18 years of age on the day of the event, except of the cases described in point 2 and 3 2. Runmageddon Recruit can be also attended by persons who will be 16 years of age on the day of the event able to present a parental or a legal guardian consent note. The model document is included in Appendix Races for the underaged: - Runmageddon Kids can be attended by kids at the age of 3 up to 12, - Runmageddon Junior can be attended by youngs at the age of 12 up to 16, only with the written consent of their parents or legal guardians presented at the Event Office on the race date. The model document is included in Appendix In order to take place in the event it is required to: a) Register by filling in an entry form; b) Sign a declaration to keep the rules described in the present document; c) Accept to take part in the event knowing all the dangers and risks due to the character and length of the race which may threaten health and life of the Participants; d) Agree for processing personal data of the Participant included in the entry form mentioned above; e) Agree to gratuitously use photos and videos with the Participant in promotional materials and media in the range described in point 6 of this document. 5. The model of a written consent for all the above is included in Appendix 1 to this document. 6. The Participant authorizes the Organizator to use the Participant s image in the following cases: - to diffuse materials including the Participant s image in any form, - to share the materials or their copies with the sponsors in order to promote the sponsor s attendance in the event, - to store the materials on the Organizator s discs and computers, - to copy the materials, - to display the materials publicly in chosen by the Organizator place and time, - to publish the materials in the Press, on the Internet, posters and billboards, - to use the materials on TV and the radio, - to use the materials as photos from the race course. 7. The Organizator can authorize its partners and sponsors to use the materials including the Participant s image. All the official partners and sponsors are listed on the Organizator s website. VII. REGISTRATION 1. The number of participants is determined separately for each event. 2. To register, please fill out the electronic form available on or runmageddon.com and fulfill the registration payment.

3 3. The registration is open up until the week (7 days) preceding the event (the race day included). 4. The registration after that time is possible (depending on the places availability), however the participants who sign up during that final week will not be guaranteed a complete starter kit. 5. Possibility of signing up online expires 3 days before the scheduled race. After that day the Participant can sign up only in the Event Office. 6. Possibility of signing up with a prepaid voucher or a discount code expires 5 days before the scheduled start of the event. VIII. ENTRY FEE 1. The entry fees increase as the event date approaches (see: Prices); the fee is determined by the payment date, not the registration date. 2. The entry fee value for each race is published in the Prices section on the official website. 3. The entry fee must be paid up to 7 days from the registration date but not later than 3 days before the scheduled event date. The payment needs to be made with a bank transfer to the account number given in the registration process. The transfer title will be generated by the registration system or the fast payment system while signing up for the particular race. 4. A group discount is available for teams taking part in one race. The value of the discount is published on the website in the Prices section. 5. In order to collect a group discount, one should collect a voucher to use in stationary Runmageddon store in the Event Office. The voucher can be used only during the event it is dedicated to. Group discount cannot be joint with any other discounts and special offers. 6. The entry fee cannot be assigned to other participant nor the data provided during registration cannot be changed after signing up and making the payment. IX. RESIGNATION 1. The entry fee may be refunded with no cancelation reason provided to up to 14 days from signing up for the race and making the payment but not later than 7 days before the scheduled event date. Apart from this time, the entry fee is non-refundable. 2. In order to renounce the contract, one needs to inform the Organizator Extreme Events via sent to kontakt@runmageddon.pl. The message should include a clear information about renouncing the contract, together with the account number the entry fee needs to be refunded to. 3. If requested, the Organizatior will refund all the payments made by the Participant not later than 14 days from the resignation date with no costs made on the Participant s side.

4 4. One may resign from taking part in the event no later than 7 days before the scheduled event date. Resignation should be made as the contract renouncement. The resignation date is the date an to kontakt@runmageddon.pl was delivered. 5. The entry fee is non-refundable if the resignation described in point 4 was made later than 14 days from the signing up date. In this situation, the Participant receives a discount worth 50% of the payment made. The discount can be used for another race organized by Runmageddon. The individual discount code will be sent to the Participant together with an confirming the resignation acceptance and it is valid for 3 months from the date the resignation was received. X. BENEFITS Included in the entry fee are: a) participation in the race; b) starter kit (more information available on the sub-pages for particular events); c) a souvenir medal or other gift certifying the participation in the race (given only if completed the race and overcame all the obstacles); d) a drink; e) basic medical care; f) possibility to leave your belongings in the deposit (the terms of use of the deposit published on website). XI. CLASSIFICATION 1. Awards will be given in the following categories: a) women places I-III in the Elite Series b) men places I-III in the Elite Series c) team classification based on the total time for the five best runners), d) masters classification dedicated for Participants at the age of 40 and more (event date taken into consideration). Awards given only if there are at least three 40+ participants on the start list. Awards are given only to the Participants from the Elite Series. The rules for Masters Series Participants are the same as in the Elite Series, e) other classification according to the information on the sub-pages for individual events. 2. Organizator has the right to give awards also in some other categories, according to the information on the sub-pages for individual events. XII. SAFETY 1. Organisers will put all the efforts to ensure safety during the race. They ensure the basic medical care during the event. 2. Due to the unique nature of the races, one must prepare for possible scratches, abrasions and injuries caused by attempts to pass the obstacles set on race track. The Participant is the only responsible for all the injuries that appeared during the race. They take part in the event on their own responsibility.

5 3. The Organizers reserve the right to stop the participants whom they decide to be in need of medical assistance, immediate warming up or any other form of help required. 4. Due to your own (and other participants) safety it is forbidden to compete in boots with spiked soles. 5. The Organizers reserve the right to deny the right to start to the Participants after alcohol and/or drugs consumption, being aggressive, having inappropriate outfit (e.g. boots with spiked soles) and/or to those who in any way threaten life and/or health of the other participants, the Organizators and their partners. The start fee is non-refundable. XIII. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION 1. The Organizator is also personal data administrator. 2. Personal data of the Participants will be processed by the Organizator in order to organize the event and award the competitors. Name, date of birth and city of residence of the Participant will be used in order to publish the start list and the results. 3. Personal data of the Participant will be processed by the Organizator according to rules described in the personal data protection law from 29th August The Participant has the right to modify their personal details. 5. It is not obligatory to provide personal data by the Participant, however it is impossible to take part in the race without them.
