We will have photos of some of the cattle and videos of all the sale selections that will be available for viewing three weeks before the sale event. People will be able to bid online for a week ahead of the auction and at 4:00 sale day, starting with Lot 1, the cattle will close one at a time with each lot staying open until all bidding has stopped. Our mission is clear: To provide breeding stock to our customers that will increase their profitability! We demand that our cowherd calve in a 42 day calving season without exception. That is the reason why many of these females will sell. In keeping with this practice, over a period of years, you can expect all VDAR females to be fertile and functiolly sound including each one in this sale, even though some happen to fall outside of our calving timeline window. Please feel free to give us a call so we can discuss the process of bidding, as well as the cattle. First go to www. anguslive.com then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the circle that says, Register to Bid for all Angus Live Sales. Next a screen will pop up to fill out your contact information with a password, , me, phone number, address, and credit card information (this is safe and confidential and for security purposes). Bidding Style Consecutive Closing with each lot having a two-minute closing period. The sale will close at 4:00 PM MDT. The auction will close in lot order. The order of closing will be the sale order that will follow the lot numbers that correspond to the lot numbers in the sale catalog. The catalog will be posted online with the videos. Example 1 Lot 1 will close at 4:02 PM MDT, then Lot 2 will close at 4:04 PM MDT, and Lot 3 will close at 4:06 PM MDT. Maximum Bidding Maximum Bidding is similar to a proxy bid and is a feature you may use during the duration of the auction. This feature allows you to place a private maximum bid that only you will be aware of and allow the computer to bid on your behalf. When another bidder places a bid on the same animal(s) as you then the price will increase to the next bid. The maximum bids are placed to the far right box on your computer screen when the bidding process opens. Bidding Increments This auction will be set up where all cattle will start at $2,250 and bidding increments will increase $250 dollars all way to $10,000 by $250, then after $10,000 they will increase to $500 increments.
