3 RULES Rules & Regulations Trailblazers Qualifiers : Once second round qualification is gained, you will then receive a second round congratulation sheet, that then needs to be returned by post with payments for cheques to Hargate Equestrian. You will then receive a second round card, which allows you to take part in any second round at the same level, within that current series year. T/B Combined Training: Both Juniors and Seniors can ride either horse/pony as long as partnership is compatible. Qualifications will be split into two sections, ponies 148cm and under and horses over 148cm. First 5 placed in each section qualify for second rounds. T/B Showjumping: Junior Riders should not have had their 17th Birthday by the time of the Junior SJ Championship. Junior riders must not ride a pony bigger than 14:2hh. If a junior rides a horse bigger than 14:2hh, the rider must be 12 yrs or over compete in the senior section. You need to jump 1 double clear in order to qualify for second rounds in that height. Seniors riding ponies can qualify in 65,75 & 85cm classes although they can compete in any at 1st rounds. T/B : Both Juniors and Seniors can ride either horse/pony as long as partnership is compatible. Juniors up to 16years and not have attained their 17 th birthday by the first day of the National Championships. Junior. Seniors must have attained their 17 th birthday by the first day of the National Championships Senior. Tests totalling 58% and over will qualify for second rounds. NPS qualifications available. Cashjumping: Our Cashjumping classes are Stage 1, restricted to combinations that have not won 500 in that class. Entry to Cashjumping classes is open to all combinations, whether registered or not with Cashjumping. You can register on cashjumping website. Prize money not to be awarded to non-registered riders, in this case, prize money will be awarded down the line. All equines must be 4 & over to compete. Juniors are aged 16yrs & under on 1st Jan of the current year. Juniors may ride horses in horse classes in the year they are 12 or over. Seniors may ride ponies but pony must be registered as a horse. Riders not to ride more than 3 Ponies in any Pony Cashjumping class or 4 horses in any horse class. No Combination may enter more than 3 classes. No equine may be ridden in the same class by two different riders unless one HC. Show to be ran by rules. Trailblazers Classes: Competitors must be a member of trailblazers, this is a free of charge, life membership. Qualifications apply to all those who gain a Double clear in classes 2,4,6,8. Once you gain your double clear and you would like to go through to Trailblazers Second rounds, Hargate secretary will have a congratulations sheet. Which need to be filled in with a fee for you to receive a second round card. qualification is gained if you score 58% or more in your test. CASHSJ Rules - please see page 3. entry fee 10 per entry.
