2 Welcome to our 54th annual Quarter Horse Production Sale! It s a hectic time, but also one of our favorite times as we gather with family, old friends, and new ones we meet sale day. We have been fortunate over the years to have raised some really good horses that have excelled on the ranch and in arenas across the country. We bred a World Show Qualifier, Working Cow Horse and Snaffle Bit winners as well as reining, roping and barrel race winners. Most of our mares have been ridden and used for ranch work. We are currently riding sons and daughters of all three stallions and they are good horses and have been easy to train. We strive to instill foundational training on the colts, working hard to make sure they are well halter broke when you take them home. They will have been tied and are vaccinated, dewormed and Coggins tested by sale day. We welcome back Jerry Lambourn and John Hadley as guest consignors and welcome Ehlers Quarter Horses as our new guest. 19 Terms and Conditions Terms and Conditions: Terms of the sale are cash or personal check (U.S. funds). Every animal sells to the highest bidder with the auctioneer settling disputes as to bids. Announced changes in catalog information sale day take precedence over printed material in this catalog. All horses are buyer s property as soon as sold. Buyers must make arrangements for care of horses at their own risk until delivery is taken. Any person attending this sale does so at his own risk. Neither the owners, sale management, Bowman Auction Market, nor any other person connected with this sale assumes any liability, legal or otherwise. Registration and Transfer: All colts sell registered with the American Quarter Horse Association unless otherwise noted. A $20 transfer fee will be assessed the buyer of each horse and registration transfers along with that fee sent to AQHA once settlement has cleared our bank. AQHA will assess noncurrent members a $30 membership fee before registration transfers are returned. Upon receipt of registration, buyers should check the paper information with each horse and report any discrepancies directly to the AQHA. L.F.S.
