F B The Colne Valley Saddle Club was founded in 1980 by a small group of local adult riders. Over the last 33 years, the Club has expanded its membership and now runs events that cover most of the equestrian disciplines. Many of the events are restricted to Club members, such as the summer Dressage and Showjumping Points Shows and training sessions. Points can be gained at the members only shows and the trophies are awarded at the AGM in October. Membership of the club is open to anyone aged 5 years or over. The annual subscription is for Full Membership and 5.00 for Social Membership. If you wish to join us, you will find a membership form overleaf. Stay on Blackmoorfoot Road (turn left at the first T-junction, and right at the next) until just after the Bull s Head. Turn right onto Black Lane (larger vehicles may have to continue up Blackmoorfoot Road and turn right at the Airfield), continue to the cross-roads and turn right. From Marsden: Turn right off the A62 onto the B6107 (Meltham). Continue for approx 2½ miles and turn left onto Blackmoorfoot Road just before the Traveller s Rest. Stay on Blackmoorfoot Road and proceed as above.

Only those entries made on a correctly completed entry form, and accompanied by the correct remittance, will be accepted. 2. Hard hats must be worn at all times whilst mounted and should conform to the current British Standard. 3. The Judges are guests of the organisers and shall be treated as such. Their decision is final. Argumentative and abusive behaviour towards the Judges shall not be tolerated and any person displaying such behaviour will be removed from the Showground. Objections may be lodged within 15 minutes of the close of the class, but must be made in writing and be accompanied by a deposit of 20 which will be refunded should the objection be upheld. 4. The organisers will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or accident whatsoever which may be sustained by a competitor, attendant, member of the public, entry or exhibit, motor car or other vehicle, tack, equipment or other personal belongings. 5. The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any class at their discretion, to refuse an entry without giving a reason and to remove persons from the showground if they refuse to comply with the rules. 6.
